Hello there, and welcome to PC!
I understand if you are new to forums in general, but we are happy to show you around. Is there any reason as to why you joined? PC is big but it's a friendly community and everyone here loves to help those in need. Maybe we could throw some suggestions for you. Have you heard about the latest Pokemon X & Y news? They revealed a few new Pokemon and also the mascots' type combinations. The Pokemon X & Pokemon Y section is a good place to keep updated on the new games, any plans on which starter you'll choose? I already got my 3DS but now's still a good time to get one because there's loads of fun games on 3DS right now including the latest Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem releases as well.
And, going by your username, I assume Darkrai is your fave Pokemon? Maybe you might want to join our Dark-type Club, run by one of my BFFs on PC, [supporter]AWsquared[/supporter] and don't worry he won't bite because he's sweet as pie. Joining some clubs can be a fun way to make new friends so feel free to browse the Pokemon Clubs section (or even Fan Clubs & Groups for non-Pokemon clubs) if you're interested. We also have stuff like Chit Chat & Polls, Forum Games and Pokemon Trivia which are also pretty fun sections as well.
Well, I'm sure they'll keep you busy and remember to read the rules or ask a moderator in the blue, orange or red if you need help. The staff don't bite so I'm sure they'll do anything they can to assist you. Have fun and I'll be seeing you around okay?

Forums aren't too hard to understand. The basics of any forum is just posting in what threads (or what this is of course) my interest you. Pokecommunity has a lot of boards for Pokemon but also ones for off topic things too. Hikari pretty much suggested a lot of good places for you to check as for Pokemon goes. But what else are you into? I wouldn't mind getting to more about yourself. This forum has many off topics section ranging from video games to entertainment to idle chat. So just explore what boards may interests you and post around.
You should definitely join my Dark Type club. :) As a fan of Darkrai, you'll fit right in. I'm really nice like Hiikari said! Right now we're talking about the currently revealed Dark types for X and Y in the recent CoroCoro so you should join in on the fun. By the way, are you excited for X and Y? I know I am myself. I'm still in the process of getting a 3DS and I hope to have one by October. Been looking all over for a job just to get one! I think alot of the new Pokemon look amazing so far and features like Pokemon Amie and the PSS make me even more excited! I really can't wait for October. :3
