Imma a newbie here so I don't know much around the site yet so Imma just searching around.

Anyways starting with a question and then with an advice,I would say it is mostly an advice.

And I didn't know where to post that so I guess Imma post it here.

First of all

I have just got the ought to try and learn how to make hacks by myself and yet I have no idea from where to start.Can anyone reccomend me some helpful programs that would fit a newbie (maybeh an advice too?)

I have gimp and I know how to use most of it,yet I don't know if gimp can help much.

Second (optional probably) can someone reccomend me a pokemon hack that the pokemon can follow you and walk with you?I really liked how this happened in soul silver and I've been trying so many amazing hacks which dragged me to make an account to the site yet I've been rarely came across with hacks like soul silver (meaning pokemon follows you) and I would like to try a hack that would look like that.

I think that you'll wanna try the Beginner's Lounge in the ROM Hack section. Best bet would be to post in the Quick Q&A thread in there. You could also make a thread, but just be aware that all threads created must undergo ROM Hack moderator approval before the thread actually appears.
