    Hi everyone, My name is Kaiden. I've known about this website for a while, and I decided that I should join. I've been enjoying Pokémon and it's game series for a long time. I'm looking forward to playing Pokémon Shining Pearl when it comes out. Also I'm going to try and see if I can try out some of the challenges for the video games, I want to try to create my own challenge for Pokémon Platinum in preparation for the Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl games. Eventually I want to try out competitive battling, I need to learn more about battle strategies before then. At the moment I haven't been very social in a while, so maybe I'll try being social here and interacting with people. I'm kind of a bit weird, I have this mental illness, so basically I don't always think like a normal person, hopefully that doesn't cause any problems. I plan on being a friendly positive member of PokeCommunity, Thanks.

    Also glad to hear that you're excited for the new games to come out as well! I believe you prefer Pearl because of Palkia? Or are there other reasons? We have plenty of discussion over at the dedicated Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl section about it. And since you're also a fan of gaming challenges, why not check out our Challenges section? Either that or Travel Journals if you just want a place to log your personal Pokemon adventures hehe. Reading on, you're also interested in learning about comp battles hmm? Competitive Pokemon is just the place for that! Looks like we have everything you need eh? :3

    Welcome to the community Kaiden! We also have groups like the Mental Health club down at the Clubhouse if you ever feel like you want to vent about something, so please don't feel awkward because I'm sure there's many people here who can relate to your situation!

    Hi Roni, thanks for the encouragement. When it comes to Pokémon Shining Pearl I'm choosing it because of Palkia and the version exclusives which I figure will be similar to the original gen IV games. I originally got Pokémon Diamond when it first came out, I would generally get each version eventually, I might end up getting Brilliant Diamond later on. This go around I'm just leaning more towards getting Shining Pearl. Also thanks for the section recommendations.
