Hey there. So, I'm a guy from germany who's known as Teehee and I've been playing Pokémon games since I was a lil' kid. My first game was Yellow, which I got as present when I first visited school. By the time Silver and Gold have already been out and my sister even owned Silver. But I was pretty young so I didn't care - I didn't even know that Silver had different Pokémon. My dad wouldn't have bought Gold for me anyways cause he knew there are only little differences between Gold and Silver, he always thought I could just go and play the Silver from my sister. She obviously didn't want me to do that because it was her game and she didn't want me to mess around with it. Eventually we convinced my dad to get both of us one edition for christmas. Now I'm here, owning Yellow, Ruby, Emerald, Pearl and Black, but although I've got a working DSi my father won't enable WiFi because he says it's too dangerous and someone could use it at our cost. And while I'm waiting for the release of Black 2 I'm spending my time programming tools for Pokémon that, as I hope, will help amateurs and experienced players to train their Pokémon for competitive play, learn how different types and type combinations work with each other, and more. One of this little programs called the 'Pokémon EV-Helper' is used to reduce training Pokémon for competitive play down to getting the necessary items and fighting Pokémon. You will be able to see more detail as soon as I, well... find the correct section for it. If there even is one.

Wow, that's a good block of text now. I didn't even think I would write more than three lines. Well, I hope you will read it nevertheless. ^^

I didn't know or notice G/S had different Pokemon and sprites either when I played as a kid, I just got the one that I thought had a cooler name. :D;; Your program sounds very interesting though, something like that could prove to be very helpful. Can't wait to see your progress on it! n_n

Anyway, welcome to PC, Teehee! I love your name, it's really unique and cool. XD;; It's great you had so much to tell us, I love seeing more thought-out intros like these. Stick around, okay? You seem pretty awesome so here's hoping we can run into each other more often. :3

    Enjoy PC!

Thanks, I sure will stick around! : )
And the program is fully functional, the only problem I've got is... I have no idea where to make a thread for it. Could you or someone else please help me out there? I would really appreciate it.

Hey Teehee, it's nice to meet you!

That's a hell of an introduction you've got there! The one part that stuck out for me is the stuff you said about your father, because my father is exactly the same :P. He's paranoid about people using our Internet even though it's password-protected, and he just doesn't understand that it doesn't matter how few differences there are between the games, you have to have them all. It's just the Pokemon way!

I'm glad I'm older and have my own money now, I can just do what I want without having to go to him :P

Anyway, welcome to PokeCommunity! You're in very good company here so I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun! See you 'round!
