Hi, my name is Alex, I'm 21 and from the north of England. Not many of my friends still play pokemon, so really I'm just here to geek out.

I'm a fan of the main series games, mostly, and looking forward to X and Y this October. As a missingno survivor, I'm not keen on learning how to hack games or cheat, but what I do want is to mingle with like-minded people.

I still have the Sceptile I chose the first time I ever played Sapphire, and the Combusken from Ruby. They're nearly 10 years old now- I'm keen on finding other people who've kept their companions that long.

My aims at the moment are to fill up the pokemon ranch, complete the Sinnoh Dex and start from scratch on FR/LG again.

Outside of playing pokemon, I'm a bigender Wholockian with green hair. I enjoy baking, DDR, painting, drawing and have next to no attention span. I'd love to hear from you.

Welcome to PC, Alex! Nice to have you on board!

We're around the same age I see, given I'll be 21 in October. You're from England? What's it like over there? I'm from Australia, but oh god it's so cold right now given we're approaching winter soon. I feel sad you have very little friends who still play Pokemon, I felt the same way too, Pokemon imo is not a kids' game, it can be for any age!

I'm excited for X and Y as well, did you hear about all the new Pokemon revealed so far? Oh god they all look awesome! You should probably check out out section for Pokemon X & Y so you can get involved in all the ongoing discussion and speculation about the new games. We also have sections covering all the other Pokemon games as well so go check them out if you can.

I hope you do enjoy your stay here and remember to read the rules and if you ever need help, don't hesitate to approach any moderators like Cirno. Remember, they are there to help you! Also, I'm open for a VM conversation anytime if you want to know me better. Have fun Alex!

What's up? We're on the same boat. I'm a 21 year old and no one else plays the game as seriously as I do lol.

Your post definitely caught my attention. I remember keeping my Pokemon from Ruby with me along the way. Unfortunately, I think the Pokemon ranch was the worst thing that ever happened to me lol. I stored all of my pokemon on the Wii and then later sold the game... I forgot to take them out lol.

But, I'm glad to have you around. I'm a new member myself.. Looking forward to trading and battling with you. I actually re-started my SS, so if you're looking to trade just let me know.

Why heeey there Alex! :) Welcome to PC~!

Yeah.. you're not alone at all in that regard. :( A lot of us seek refuge (haha) here on PC since our friends don't play Pokemon, and this is a great community for all sorts of fans. I have friends who like Pokemon but most of them don't actively keep up with the new games. Guess I'm one of the luckier ones in that regard? Either way, you'll find plenty of great people here that you can befriend who share the same love for Pokemon as you.

X and Y especially have been hyping our members and I'm really excited for 'em, myself. Going to be getting X most likely; the box art's amazing and the legendary is just as wonderful. That's not to say Yveltal isn't cool though, haha. Absolutely cannot wait for the 90-minute conference on the games during E3! Hopefully that brings us a lot of cool information. Like Hikari said, you absolutely have to post around the X & Y board if you're as excited about those games as we are.

But omg! I actually had a bunch of Pokemon that I've owned for ten years but then I was stupid and restarted my Diamond. Now I don't have them at all and it's just sad to think about. ;_; The "oldest" Pokemon I have are probably only about five or six years old. Mehh.

Good luck with your goals though, Alex! Hope you get a lot of help from our members and end up as an active community regular. Sticking around is a great choice; you'll make many friends. See you around!
