Hi everyone,

I'm Operative Loren (Loren for short).

I decided to join PokeCommunity because I want to get back into playing Pokemon like I used to. Pretty sure around 20% of my life up until this point has been spent playing any of the Pokemon games... When I was younger, I got into the trading card game and loved watching the anime. Then I got my first Gameboy Advance and started out playing Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Since Diamond and Pearl, I was disappointed with the new games until I got Pokemon X/Y. I still haven't completed Y, but I like it and I'm excited to play Sun/Moon as well.

So, yeah, there's a lot I've missed but I can't wait to dive back in. I came across this site after floating around some other message boards to see if I should join them, and PokeCommunity just has so much. I was amazed at the quality of the roleplaying, for one, and that was my main motivation for joining. Haven't rp-ed in a long time, though, so it might take me a little bit to get back to that level! It's just so nice to see an rp section that's so... organised, as well as very, very active.

I'm also glad that there are so many other non-Pokemon sections as well. This seems to be a community not just for Pokemon, but for video games as a whole. It'd be nice to make some new friends on Steam.

Hello, hello! I'm Dragon, nice to meet you! Yeah, most of my childhood revolved around playing Pokemon and getting into the franchise as well. I loved watching the anime, and it transitioned to me playing the games! I'm super excited to be playing Pokemon Sun and Moon as well, in which there's gonna be new info on April 15th, so I can't wait for that!

Ah, well, indeed our community has a great roleplaying genre, as the community there is really awesome. I haven't RPed in a while myself, but, maybe I'll get back into it! And I'd love to see you there sometime so we can roleplay together, hmm? Other than Pokemon, what games do you play? I play a lot of JRPGs myself, in which they're all pretty fun. <33

Nice to meet you too, Dragon! Mhm, that would be great :)

I'm a PC gamer, for the most part. My favourite is Borderlands 2. I also love Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Shadowrun, Project Zomboid, Minecraft (although weirdly, I think I've played more Terraria than I have Minecraft), Team Fortress 2, Warhammer: Dawn of War II, PAYDAY 2 (though I'm rubbish at it), and I want to get good at Dota 2, but mobas aren't really my thing. I just like Dota specifically.

There are many more, but I'm not going to list my whole Steam library :P Console wise, Spyro the Dragon is my obsession. (Not Skylanders though. I have mixed feelings on Skylanders.) Aside from that and Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Kirby, and Phoenix Wright are among my favourites. Going to start playing Castlevania and Rune Factory 3 soon.
