Hello,
So I'm going to introduce myself. First I'd like to say that I'm French, and that I'm no bilingual so I'm really sorry if I make mistakes or if I'm hard to understand, I'll try to do my best to avoid that (but you can correct me if you want, it'll help me to progress ^^)! Why do I register on an english forum? Don't ask me I don't know, I just wanted to try... (:
I'm a girl and I'm 17, I live in France, in Brest, in Bretagne (just near the sea, and not far away from England).
"The Clockwork Hedgehog" comes from 'A Clockwork Orange' (which is my favorite Kubrick's film!) and 'Hedgehog' (because that's my nickname since I'm 12 -I used to have spiky hair so...-)
I play Pokemon since I'm 8 (I think... I don't remember exactly when I get my first pokemon game). My first version was Pokemon Gold (on gameboy color), but I already knew the game before because some friends had yellow, blue, red, gold, silver and crystal versions so I could play when I was with them. :)
My favorite pokemon version used to be Gold/Silver/Crystal, but since Heartglod and Soulsilver's release it has changed for Emerald (I hope there'll be a remake soon!).
My favorite music group is Jamiroquai (I saw them in a concert on the 28th of July in Nice, and I'll see them again in November in Paris :D), but I also like groups like Rammstein, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and a lot of other artists!
Talking about music... I'm a guitar player since 4 years (electric guitar! I don't like to play classical or folk guitar, it's extremely different!), and I'm studying music in High School.
My favorite films are Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, The Full Monty, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, Psycho, Little Miss Sunshine, Die Welle, Requiem for a Dream, American Beauty, Monty Python, Amadeus... and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of them! I also like disney animation films (what? I'm 17, where is the problem? ^^), my favorite are the Lion King, the Fox and the Hound & Mulan. (:
On TV (I don't have TV but streaming helps a lot :D), I like South Park, Breaking Bad & the Simpsons.
I like reading. My favorite (... that makes a lot of 'favorite' in that thread... don't you have another word to replace it?!) books are 'Silence of the Lambs', 'Red Dragon' (I liked 'Hannibal' too but I found it boring sometimes... And I really disliked 'Hannibal Rising', was the author trying to excuse Hannibal's 'cruelty' by making him more 'human' and explaining his behavior by some stupid life troubles?! No, it was really disappointing!) , 'whiteout'... At the present time, I'm reading 'The Pillars of the Earth', usually, I don't like that kind of books but this one appears to be interesting!
I also like manga, like Bleach, Death Note, Letter Bee, Liar Game, Eyeshield21, Bakuman, The Breaker, Fullmetal Alchemist... And in anime (because paper versions are bad for those, or that I didn't read it) Samurai Champloo, Darker than Black, Anohana & Yondemasuyo Azazel san. :)
