hi, hey, hello, i'm kyle and i'm very bad at introductions.

it seems pretty nice aroud here. i'd like to get to know more people who like pokemon, and what's better for that than a pokemon forum. i like that there are quite a few general discussion topics too!

i've played hg/ss, and all gen 5 and 6 games. i wasn't really aware that pokemon had games or existed before that, oops

my favorite thing to do is breed pokemon for shinies (shinies hatched: exactly 0!! soon) or just to keep them in a box forever or wondertrade them, since i know next to nothing about ivs/evs/all that. i'm not very good at battling. currently i'm aiming to complete the pokedex in y, which isn't going too well since i haven't even finished the game yet ahaha

i'm looking forward to being part of the community!

Welcome to the forums, Kyle! I'm Megan, and it is a pleasure to meet you. :) Your introduction is fine, really...it's a great way to test the waters of what PC is all about, and creating a thread is the first step. :D

I was actually on the same page as you are right now, I've been wanting to find peeps to talk about Pokemon with, and PC was the best forum to start out. 4 years here and still going, because it has never failed to amaze me, and I'm very sure it will never fail to amaze you either. <3 & yeah, PC is more than just a Pokemon forum, actually! As much as I love to discuss Pokemon, you will also find peeps who love to discuss other things, like general video games, debates, technology, anime, and many many more. :D

How far are you in the game right now? Hah, I'm not that good at breeding shinies either, at least...like, I tend to find one once a year in hoards (like this one time I found a shiny Spearow out of random and CAUGHT IT :D). If you do get back to breeding shinies, I wish you all the best!

i just beat the anistar gym. i already completed x and y was a free copy i got from a promo, so i'm taking my time with it

how lucky! i've never caught a random shiny but i knocked one out once, pfff

And yup, glad that we're making a great first impression so far! I hope that you won't hesitate on exploring the forums and seeing & active in what you like! For instance, maybe you'll enjoy the 5th gen board, as well as the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y board if you like the 5th and 6th gen! But yeah, hopefully you can check out the older games soon - Gen 3 is absolutely amazing. :3

I've got a few shinies myself, but, mostly I'm just after IV bred pokemon. Mmm, but yeah, you can check out the Trade Corner's trade shops, and the quick trading threads that people have made if you have any offers, or would like to trade with any of em'. C:
