Hi All! I used to be an avid collector of the first generation of Pokemon cards many years ago. Also a big fan of the TV show/movies and all the video games. I recently received a code to try the online trading card game and it has given me a massive Pokémon buzz! I'm looking to start building a new collection of cards (having the cards online just isn't the same for me, you cant beat the feeling of opening up a booster pack!) and also maybe playing competitively as this is something I wished I had done when I was younger.


Looking forward to meeting and chatting to some fellow Pokemon fans :) and any advice on which cards might be best to get would be massively appreciated as I have been out the loop for nearly 20 years!!!

Hi! Thank you for your reply :) yeah I think I will head over there for some advice on which cards to get as I am clueless on all the new stuff at the moment. I forgot just how much I loved Pokémon and its nice to see there are still lots of fans after being away from it for so long :D

Hey man! Welcome to PC! As Genuinely suggested, the trading card forum section is a good place for you to start. Other than that, I would reccomend browsing throught the different sections. there are section about the different generations about pokémon, but also about wich games/movies you like outside of Pokemon. You can even find people here to play games with!

I hope you enjoy yourself out here! I am not active in the trading card section, but perhapds we will see eachtother somewhere else. See ya!

Hello :) thanks for the reply! Im going to have a browse through the trading card section now to see what I can learn. I will also look out for the different generations of Pokemon too, I have much to catch up on!! Everyone on here seems really nice and I'm looking forward to starting my new Pokemon adventure!
