So im new to this forum and Pokemon forums in general. Ive been playing Pokemon since gen1 and continued playing to the present. I play many other games but Pokemon is one of my absolute favorites and has a special place for being the first game to open me up to video games, somewhat defining my life. There are few games ive played as much as Pokemon, easily one of my favorite and most loved games.

The only other forum ive ever been a part of was for Mortal Kombat. I played that game "professionally" (even though there was no real money involved outside of MLG tournaments which I usually couldnt attend because of my age). And I know there we treated new members like they didnt know anything (which was true in most cases actually), but hopefully the community here is kinder to newcomers.

My excuse for finally making an account for a Pokemon forum is watching TwitchPlaysPokemon put me in the mood to start up a new playthrough. Only problem is I feel like the games are too easy in most cases. I want some kind of challenge, but not something like nuzlocke, that seems too gimmicky and luck based for me. Any ideas? My favorite gens are 1 and 2 but im not dead set on only playing one of those two.

Hello there! Great that you've chosen PC as your first pokemon forum! (: I've been playing ever since the Gen I era myself, and played ever since then too! And yeah, I guess Pokemon, alongside other games I've been playing, liiiike Super Mario Bros, and some Legend of Zelda games, have really inspired me to play a lot of video games that I haven't before haha. Nintendo in general is pretty much my favourite franchise, but, along side some capcom games, and some others!

I only played Mortal Kombat for the SNES, but, wasn't really that good on it, aside from some random moves that I was able to do. Eh, I was a little kid at the time, so I didn't understand most of it, in which, I should get back to it sometime! Aw, but don't worry, no matter what game you've played, you're always welcome to PC in our books! I would definitely love to talk to you about video games sometimes! <33

Ah, speaking of video games, perhaps the Video Games section would be perfect or you! As the name implies, it's where you can discuss video games in general, with the rest of the members here. And hey, you know, maybe you'll have an interests in the Challenges board as well! It's where members create challenges for people to play in. You'll love it there; they step aside from the usual nuzlocke, to incopriate very creative challenges for people to play in! So, maybe this will help you decide on some challenges that you can do.
