    Hey folks, first post.

I'm curious about a pair of Charizards I have. Charizard 19/113 Legendary Treasures. They are both Holo (not the type with the lines, but normal holo plus bubbles). The thing is, one of them has the holo bubbles on the whole card, including on the yellow border.

It's hard to capture properly on with a picture, but the picture is full foil.

Is it a misprint or an alternate version of the card? Google is not helping me much on this!

Edit: It also seems like bulbapedia is down? Weird!

I've been looking around the forums and it seems my best hope is when Icy sees this! lol. Added a couple more picture of the two

It's not an alternate version, and it's not really a misprint either. The DP sets just had a lot of inconsistency with their "white ink" layer.

gotcha, and thanks so much for taking the time to answer me! so they're both the same card, the "Alternate Holo Promo" only executed quite differently on the one? I'm not the best at knowing values, but if I understand right this is already a >$20 card without the quirk of distinctly clear "shattered" holo throughout right?

Yeah, the promo cosmos/galaxy version is averaging almost $24 right now, ungraded. Not sure how much the transparency would affect the value though, if at all. Depends on the buyer.

Was black and white prone to the same white ink layer issue? If not, then I'd imagine that makes this print a little rarer?

And while you're both super helpful, I was curious if I could get a value quote on this one? I think I lucked out on this garage find!

Oops. I actually don't have any experience with BW-era cosmos foils personally, but looking at some others online, seeing the sparkles through the ink seems to be a trend even on modern cosmos foils. And like those from the DP era, the amount that shows through can vary.

FA Colress is averaging about $34, with some listings going for $40-$70.

Cool, thanks for all the info! I think the weird thing here is the holo circles aren't so much "visible" as they are exactly the same as on the art section. There's no difference in the amount they sparkle in the light. I know it's hard as heck to capture that properly on a picture though...
