Hey guys, I was wondering if you'd be able to give me some input on a couple of Pokemon I am considering putting on my team for Ultra Moon. Because I'm not really a fan of many native Alolan Pokemon, I have decided to breed some Pokemon in Sun that would otherwise be unavailable and them bring them over to Ultra Moon. Here are the Pokemon I have bred so far and am considering bringing over:

    Phione
    Tyrunt
    Amaura
    Larvitar
    Larvesta
    Rotom
    Anorith
    Mareep
    Noibat
    Every starter from Gens 1-7

On top of the starter I will choose a the beginning of the game (Popplio), I have decided to bring over 4 Pokemon, leaving one spot for a native Alolan Pokemon. I have already decided that I will bring over Phione, Anorith, and Mareep. This leaves only one spot left, with four Pokemon to choose from. I have narrowed down the list from above a bit. Which of these Pokemon do you guys think I should bring over? Tyrunt, Amaura, Larvitar, Larvesta, or Noibat? I'll post a poll to make it easier to see people's opinions.

I understand this will come down to personal preference, mainly mine, but I'd love to hear from people who have used these Pokemon in playthroughs or have a fondness for one of the Pokemon for one reason or another. Thanks in advance for the help! You guys are all great on these boards.

Whoa, we have no idea if there's gonna be any new Pokemon or what is even in the game... kinda hard to help you pick when we have no idea what types of trainers you'll be facing!

But dude all we know about the game is the title and new legendary forms, maybe wait a bit?

I'm just going under the assumption that they're not going to add any new generation 7 Pokemon. I think they will add new Alola forms but I doubt they add any completely new Pokemon. That's why I've decided to have a team of Pokemon I really like but have never gotten to use.

I'm with Altairis. I'd say wait until we get closer to release day or wait until the lineup of the new Alola Dex is revealed as well as what major boss fights will occur. I usually take all that into account when planning a team.
