HELP ME PLEASE!! (EMERALD)

    Hi guys..

    i play this game by emulator "No$GBA"..

    When i went to the 4th gym..
    there's some effect like smoke screen, so then i couldn't see anything..
    but, in my brother's gameboy Sp console there was none..

    it's also happened in the first cave while I was fighting team Aqua who stole the old man's Winggull (or maybe pecko)..

    what must I do???

    please I need help... :( i'am really desperate..

    and please don't answer it : "play it on ur bro's GBA SP!"

    Thats normal for both games but ur bros must be giltched as they are supposed to be smokescreened effect cuz i own emerald on GBA. So u and ur bro got bad copies. The emulator however has correct information about the game.

    But anyhows i don't think emulation talk is allowed in this section of the forums.

    Its normal, the smoke is supposed to be there, its just the screen on the SP that makes it so the smoke does not appear. The same thing happens with Pokemon Ruby & Saphire. To get through the Gym to Flannery, you have to fall in the holes. But in some holes Trainers pop up.

    You could try VBA instead of NO$GBA. It works better for the GBA games in my experience and I didn't experience a complete smoke block-out. The smoke is meant to be there like Unistachio said above but not to the extent where you can no longer see.
     
    Yeah try playing it on a VBA ^^
     
    not if you wana play 2 player on one computer cause u need 2 computers to play 2 player on the vba
     
    VBA is the best emulator out there so far...
    And no$gba is no cash gba and it is supposed to play ds roms but it doesn't work with it and if it does it lags a lot.
     
    i think what he means is that the smokescreen is solid and you cant see the map below it
    it happened to me too i dont remember fi i was won VBA or no$GBA though
    but now i dont have the problem
    VBA is the only way to fix it i believe
     
    try...

    vba works perfect(i use it Z=A X=B enter=start & backspace=select) and to all who reads this pikachu's paradise=great place for roms etc. so check it out that site = alot of help
