    Hey there,

It's my first post on this forum and I hope someone can help me out with my team.
So I've put my team togheter around my Lanturn. (It seems weak but he is awesome, my fav pokemon since gen 2 and shiny^^)
But now I have the problem with hold items. I wish I could give 2 leftovers etc.

Here is my team and at the bottom you can see what items I've got in mind.

    Cradily (Lead, special wall)
    252 hp/ 4 spa/ 252 spd
    Calm
    Storm Drain
    - Stealth Rock
    - Giga Drain
    - Ancient Power (hidden power rock has same bp)
    - Earth power

Crobat (physical attacker or revenge killer)
    252 atk/ 4 spd/ 252 spe
    Jolly
    Infiltrator
    - Brave Bird
    - U-turn
    - Cross Poison
    - Defog

    Gallade (physical attacker)
    212 hp/ 252 atk/ 44 spe
    Adamant
    Justified
    - Drain Punch
    - Psycho Cut
    - Fire punch
    - Knock off

    Lanturn (special attacker)
    196 hp/ 252 Spa/ 60 spe
    Modest
    Volt Absorb
    - Scald
    - Volt Switch
    - Ice Beam
    - Hidden power grass (in case swampert, quagsire or seismitoad shows up)

Cofagrigus (So this name is banned on this forum :P) (physical wall)
    252 HP/ 252 def / 4 spd
    Bold
    Mummy
    - Will-o-wisp
    - protect
    - knock off or pain split (i'm still not sure)
    - shadow ball

    Sylveon (cleric)
    252 hp/ 4 def / 252 spd
    Calm
    Pixilate
    - Wish
    - Hyper Voice
    - Heal Bell or toxic
    - Baton Pass (for safe wish passing) or protect (for safe self healing)

    My thought was:
    Cradily - Yache Berry
Crobat - Life Orb or choice band
Gallade - Assault vest or choice scarf
    Lanturn- Choice specs
    Cofagrigus - Rocky Helmet
    Sylveon - Leftovers

Let me know what you think.

There are better Grass Pokemon out there than Cradily, like Ferrothorn, but if you insist, Recover should replace Earth Power or Ancient Power, as Cradily gets worn down fast without it:
    -Stealth Rock
    -Giga Drain
    -Earth Power/Ancient Power/Toxic
    -Recover
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef
    Item: Leftovers/Sitrus Berry
    Ability: Storm Drain

An offensive Crobat should hold Choice Band. Then again, Talonflame does Choice Band abuse much better because it has priority in Brave Bird:
    -Flare Blitz
    -Brave Bird
    -U-turn
    -Tailwind/Steel Wing
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Band
    Ability: Gale Wings

Gallade should be holding its Mega Stone, the Galladite. It's the sole reason why it's good right now; its Mega Evolution has much better Speed and a good deal of offensive power. Since you don't have any Mega Evolutions on the team, you might as well give the Mega slot to Gallade:
    -Swords Dance
    -Zen Headbutt
    -Close Combat
    -Knock Off
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Galladite

Defensive Sylveon should be Bold to take advantage of its physically-based resistances:
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Hyper Voice
    -Heal Bell
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Pixilate

Rocky Helmet is a fine alternative on Cofagrigus, since it has (semi-) reliable recovery in Pain Split.

    Thanks for the fast reply!

    I'm using Pokemon X so I can't get my Mega Gallade :(

    I forgot about ferrothorn.
I had bronzong as my special wall, but then I would have had 3x ghost weakness. (Damn you 6th gen).
Maybe ferrothorn is a better choice.

    - Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Gyro ball
    - ??
    Nature: Calm
    Evs: 252 HP/4def/252 Sdef
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    Item: ??

I know about Talonflame, but I have no fairy counter without Crobat.

Like I said I can't get a Galladite in X. Maybe mega Medicham is an option? On the otherhand I really like gallade.

    I thought Sylvion was a special wall/cleric.

    Thanks for the help.

    Ferrothorn's moveset should be:
    -Stealth Rock
    -Leech Seed
    -Gyro Ball/Thunder Wave
    -Power Whip/Protect
    Nature: Relaxed
    EVs: 252 HP/88 Def/168 SDef
    Item: Leftovers/Shed Shell
    Ability: Iron Barbs

Better Fairy counters to turn to include Gengar and Dragalge:

    Dragalge:
    -Sludge Wave
    -Draco Meteor
    -Scald/Hidden Power (Fire)
    -Focus Blast/Hidden Power (Fire)
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 200 HP/240 SAtk/12 SDef/56 Spe
    Item: Choice Specs/Dragon Fang/Poison Barb/Toxic Plate/Draco Plate
    Ability: Adaptability

    Gengar:
    -Shadow Ball
    -Sludge Wave/Sludge Bomb
    -Focus Blast
    -Destiny Bond/Taunt/Substitute
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Focus Sash/Black Sludge

    or
    -Substitute
    -Shadow Ball
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Taunt/Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave/Disable
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 28 HP/148 SAtk/80 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Black Sludge

    or
    -Hex
    -Taunt
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Sludge Wave/Sludge Bomb/Substitute
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 8 HP/248 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Black Sludge

(note: you'll have to ask someone in the Trade Corner for an Adaptability Skrelp/Dragalge, since they can only be caught in OR/AS)

While Mega Medicham is outclassed by Mega Gallade for the most part, it's an alternative for more raw power off the bat:
    -High Jump Kick/Drain Punch
    -Zen Headbutt
    -Ice Punch/Baton Pass
    -Substitute
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant
    EVs: 16 HP/252 Atk/240 Spe
    Item: Medichamite
    Ability: Pure Power

    or
    -High Jump Kick
    -Zen Headbutt
    -Fake Out
    -Bullet Punch/Ice Punch
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant
    EVs: 16 HP/252 Atk/240 Spe
    Item: Medichamite
    Ability: Pure Power

Yeah, Mega Medicham is even better than Mega Gallade.

    Medicham @ Medichamite
    Ability: Pure Power
    EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - High Jump Kick
    - Zen Headbutt
    - Fake Out
    - Ice Punch

Also, Ferro runs Mixed defenses. It's better that way, On the 4th slot you could use T-Wave / Protect. T-wave to stop fast attackers and Protect for scouting and recovering when you had Leech Seed setted. Running Shed Shell allows you to avoid being trapped by Zone, So it's the best bet.

    Ferrothorn @ Shed Shell
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Gyro Ball
    - Protect / Thunder Wave

Gallade outclasses Medicham because it's not as frail as Medicham is. Its new base Speed of 110 is even more important than Medicham's base Speed of 100. It also has a wider move pool to take advantage of; it even includes the coveted Knock Off, which helps it deal with Ghosts not named Sableye (or Spiritomb). Gallade also has a more reliable Fighting STAB in Close Combat; High Jump Kick is risky because missing and hitting a Ghost Pokemon cause 50% recoil.

The only thing Medicham has over Gallade is the raw power off the bat.

Thanks for the fast reply again!

I think I leave Crobat, cause I can switch in against possible EQ or grass type moves on my Lanturn. Don't get me wrong I know Gengar can do that to, but I'm sick of seeing Gengar and Talonflame all the time.
Is a Tornadus with sludge bomb a thing? Saw that a few games ago and thought it was cool. Although it's special and can have problems with Florges that way.
I forgot about the high jump kick, as i'm not that good in predicting switches and I don't like low acc. moves. Any tip for a pokemon that fits in this team? (an physical attacker or mixed attacker) Prefer a NU, RU or UU pokémon.
As well I'm thinking to replace Sylveon with Florges. So I have a special wall, physical wall and a mixed wall. And a NU, UU team.

    Florges
    -Moonblast
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Aromatherapy
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 252 HP/4 SpA / 252 SpD
    Ability: Flower Veil

Florges is outclassed by Sylveon because not only are its abilities useless in singles, but it also passes smaller Wishes. Its Moonblast also does less than Sylveon's Hyper Voice:

    0 SpA Florges Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 112-133 (32.8 - 39%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO

    0 SpA Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 136-162 (39.8 - 47.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

This team is considered OU by default because of the presence of Mega Medicham and Sylveon, OU Pokemon. OU Pokemon aren't allowed in UU and below.

Don't even bother with Sludge Bomb Tornadus; Hurricane already chunks Fairies hard.

If you want something out of the box to counter Fairies with, use Dragalge. It's not OU by usage, and it does pretty well in OU.

Team building is hard. I want a team that has almost no pokémon that everyone uses. But some of them are to good to leave aside.
Medicham is not OU anymore at least when I checked last time. Ferrothorn and Sylveon are however.

I think I get my team like this:

    -Ferrothorn (mixed wall, stealth rock)
    -Lanturn (special attacker)
    -Cofagrigius (defensive wall)
-Sylveon (special wall, I know you adviced bulk, but special fits more in this team)
-Mega Medicham (for now, till I have the time to IV breed ralts and send it to AS)
-Crobat or Dragalge (still not sure, cause Crobat is handy for EQ but Dragalge is a nifty pokemon with adaptability)

And when I have time I will build a NU, RU, UU team. If you want you can help me again when I finish that one:)

    Thank you so much!
