I can't get past Tate and Liza.
These god damned twins are the bane of my existance.
    Here's the team:

Blaziken - Double Kick, Peck, Rock Tomb, Blaze Kick. He pretty much comes in to either do some Rock Tombs or Blaze Kicks when i'm struggling. Of course he can't stand one Psychic.

Lombre - Ice Beam, Surf, Fake Out, Giga Drain. He comes in to land Ice Beams, Surfs and Giga Drains on these pesky rocks. He also can't stand a Psychic.

Manectric - Quick Attack, Spark, Shock Wave/Thunderbolt, Bite. He comes in to take down the Xatu with Thunderbolt. He also does some stuff with Bite. He stands a Psychic, but an Earthquake leaves him immediately in the red zone.

Linoone - Dig, Rock Smash, Strength, Slash. He's also one i use when i'm struggling. Mainly comes in and uses Strength and Slash. He can stand some moves.

Absol - Double Team, Swords Dance, Slash, Bite. This guy lacks a good Dark type move. He's technically the first one in the party, but i have to watch out for the Confuse Rays. With his incredible attack power, if he hits himself, he's practically dead.

Altaria - Fly, Dragon Dance, Dragonbreath, Sing. She helps me a lot with Sing, besides its awful accuracy. She also sets up Dragon Dances and uses Dragonbreath.

Believe me, i've tried, they're just so damn annoying. Claydol's Psychic and Earthquake always get me, Xatu isn't a bother, neither is Solrock, Lunatone really bothers me too. (He never ever misses a Hypnosis.) Why game, why?

You know, have you considered getting a Water Stone to evolve Lombre? It'll have better stats as a Ludicolo, so it should be able to take the hits better and hit them harder. You can get a Water Stone in the Abandoned Ship or by trading a Blue Shard to the treasure hunter inside the house on Route 124.

Those two are god-awful for everybody even back when they just had two Pokemon. They're eeeeeeviiiil.

Anywho, it seems that Claydol is causing you the most problems. Maybe attempt some status moves on it? Also stat boosting items might help. Persim berries might help too as they give you one free confusion recovery for your Absol.

All I can really recommend though is just experiment with different tactics. Brute forcing is not going to work with Tate and Liza so perhaps being a little more strategic might be your best hope. You could try having your Absol and Altaria out first, and have the Absol spam Double Team while spamming Fly on your Altaria. Then once your Absol is virtually untouchable work on taking down Claydol first. Just try out different things and take advantage of every little thing you've got on you.

I can only get a Blue Shard with Dive, which is obtained after defeating Tate & Liza. So, yeah... stuck with Lombre.

I'll try and do that. Thank you.

I don't recall anyone having problems with Tate and Liza, at least if they reached that point. Mostly they just used brute force of some sort, it seemed to mostly just be a bit of a gimmicky battle to show off a new format rather than something which was meant to be difficult. This didn't change much with Emerald, as they were mostly just spammed with the same types in repetition, but you figure that people played Emerald to either rush to Rayquaza or get closer to it anyway. Mostly, people in general didn't play Emerald, of course.

That said, you do seem decently poised. After taking out the Pokémon who are easier targets, possibly set up with Absol, who seems like they could get powerful enough for this battle if they could stick around for a bit, and one of the other Pokémon who can survive briefly or inflict significant enough damage, like Lombre or Manectric, with Altaria to come in if you need, or alternatively start with Altaria if you don't need to inflict damage immediately. but in any case this seems like you have enough going against them to win. You don't really seem to be in that difficult a position, especially if you can inflict a status effect or so on the only types that give any difficulty. If Xatu isn't a problem, you needn't risk Absol against it, if that's the issue. Given your team, the other side seem to be mostly up against it, as there are quite a few dark type attacks and such within it, despite the difficulties with this gym in particular, so if it's just a question of arbitrarily taking attacks, then you might as well just try and get to the point of hanging in for a bit longer and then it shouldn't be difficult, but as it stands it doesn't seem that difficult an arrangement, really.

    Imagine how they must feel.

You might want to get a sharpedo, since it is a good counter to the rock/psychic type pokemon on their teams. It learns crunch at level 22, so you should have a good dark type move, and you can teach it surf to hit both solrock and lunatone.

Consider going north to Shoal Cave and catching yourself a Spheal. Train it up to take Linoone's spot in your team, if only temporarily. Having access to more STAB Water and Ice moves will help you against the twins.

At least you get a couple of new Pokémon games out of your struggles. Has that gone well, if you've retried?

This might well be a good way of countering the Solrock-Lunatone duo, if at times ambiguous. Might have been worth a try.
