[Other] help with adding music to a legendary battle

So I want to add a legendary battle music theme for certain legendaries but I have no clue where to start if anyone could help me with that I'll appreciate it

Like for example your battling lugia his own music comes out when u challenge it I want it so that the music I want would be playing instead I hope you understand what I'm saying

Go google search pokemon fire red hacking tools and click on the first link that pops up. On that site look for poketronic. It allows you to choose what music you want to play during the battle for whichever pokemon event you choose. You can try the link that Spherical Ice posted if you're able to use ASM. But if you're a noobie like I am, try using poketronic. Way easier in my opinion.

I thought you could just use playsong 0xXXX 0x0 before the battle, I'm sure I read that somewhere.
