    If you want a bigger avatar in general, you'll likely have to become a staff member or donate for supportership. For easy reference, these are the individual usergroup avatar size limits:

    Regular members: 130x130
    Silver Supporters: 150x150
    Gold & Crystal Supporters: 180x180
    Platinum Supporters: 200x200

    If you are interested in donating, check here. Otherwise, you can crop the image to fit your size dimensions.
     
    Just some advice on image shrinking: When editing an image in for example GIMP2 or Paint.NET, try upping the resolution to about double if its a fairly sized picture, triple for large images (if bigger than the 130x130 limit) since resizing smaller tends to damage the quality or lower the resolution of the said picture.
