hi everyone, i just got a charmander level 12 in a trade and i think it has a Pokerus virus thing i heard about, if i wanted to trade the charmander to another person would it be classed as hacking and put on black list ect, also if it is classed as hacking how do you remove it if there is a way.

    Thanks

Pokerus just goes away after about 2 days I believe, so if you're that worried about it I'd wait until it just disappears then. Though, I don't think it should be a problem when trading, but I could be completely wrong of course.

Pokerus itself is not illegal or classed as hacking as you can find it in the game (only if you are rather lucky mind), but people often spread pokrus on their pokes so you getting it via a trade is not unlikely (happened with myself in fact). In short - no need to worry becaus ePokerus is useful (although i recoomend keeping a Pokemon with the 'active' spreadable form in the PC because for any Pokemon with it outside the PC system at midnight, it'll not longer be spreadable to other Pokemon. There's some guides on it you can find easily enough via google).

trading a pokémon that has pokérus isn't classed as hacking nor is it illegal

many people do it in order to "share" the benefits of pokérus and spread the virus to the rest of their pokémon

as bobandbill said... always keep at least 1 infected pokémon in your Box so you always have access to the virus if you want it :)

Now that your question has been answered, this thread does not serve much purpose anymore. I'm going to go ahead and put a close to this, but be sure to use the Quick Questions sticky for future questions you may have.
