I need help on mesprit, I have use a Haunter with hypnosis and dream eater to make it sleep and weakened it.Help please.

If you can, try to get a pokemon with False Swipe or buy the TM in Veilstone's shopping center. False Swipe will guarantee that Mesprit is at 1 HP. Also get a pokemon with Mean Look so that Mesprit doesn't run away. Level up the Mean Look pokemon so that when you find Mesprit, your pokemon can Mean Look before Mesprit runs. Then play at night and keep throwing dusk balls.

For Mean Look, go to Victory Road and catch a Golbat there. They are faster than Mesprit and have Mean Look.
