help

Okay... try right clicking on the files... there should (Never used SmartFTP...) be an option for CHMODing.

yes, right click on desired files(s) and select 'Properties/CHMOD'

see screenshots attached.

Well, I was eventually going to ask this question lol. But I just have another question about CHMODing. Just out of curiousity, what exactly does it do to the selected file? Just wondering! ^^

It just sets permissions.. telling the server who can do what, (read, write, or execute)

i already did that but the apply button won't light up and when i click ok the permissions change back

...o.O Who's your host?

*realizes this belongs in Resources* ~_~

Then they might now allow CHMODing... I dunno.

if i give you my pass and user do u think you could do it for me

or tell me how to use cpanel

Hostultra has CPanel?

And you shouldn't give your user/pass... but I'd be willing to try.

Try to install it again...

Though I think you're missing some files...

o yeah the .htaaccess cant upload so what should i do?
