    Okay, I'm pretty new around here, but this isn't the first acct that i've created on here. I know that's probably something i shouldn't do, but i keep having technical problems with this site, so for some reason i can't access some pages unless i make a new account!

    So this is my question: HOW COME I CAN'T ACCESS SOME PAGES!? It just gives me a "you do not have sufficient priveleges" or w/e, and stuff! Like I've been looking at the ROM Hacking threads, but then I can't dl some of them because its says i don't have enough priveleges? -.- well duh if you prevent me from them!

    I've been having this problem for a while now, and for some reason after i hit a specific amount of pages (i think around 15 or something, i didn't really count) i'm not allowed to view any more! It's not a problem with my browser, i can tell.

    This isn't really the question place, but i'm new anyway, so i guess this is as good as a place to ask anyway.

    And also- Whenever I download one of the pplz's hacks, it's in ips format and Virtual Boy won't play that... so how do i do it then? I've looked around, and some site said that IPS's are patches, but then how do i get the original versions? No one has them? The only one that i can play so far is Dark Future..... bleh

    help a noob in need! Answer!
     
    Unless I'm mistaken, I think that the Rom Hacking forum has to have certain threads approved by the moderator there, so maybe the thread is currently under moderation or something. Don't quote me on that part. XD *never visits ROM Hacking* :x

    But it sounds like maybe your account hasn't been completely activated yet, as I know you need your account to be activated by an administrator for you to be able to post in certain areas of PC.

    I'm sorry I can't be of more help to you. And while you are still new, I think you might get more help if this was in CQ&F. I'll move it there and hopefully someone can help you with your problems. ^^;

    Maybe you are being taken to a forum or thread, that is for Admins only?

    However ROM Hacking seems like a place that would need threads to be moderated first so who knows :)

    Well your account is activated. Did all this happen before or after you activated your account?

    And the blank pages you're getting is due to the server. Today it's been screwy so pages take longer to load or they don't load at all.
