well i've have been testing this new team. it works most of the time...

i have a few flaws in this team so im wondering if you guys could fix it

    heres my team.

    Breloom@Toxic Orb

    Jolly - Poison Heal
    -Focus Punch
    -Seed Bomb
    -Substitute
    -Spore

I run jolly to out speed most things. usually works really well if the opponent doesn't expect it.

    Snorlax@leftovers
    Careful - Thick Fat
    244Hp /236 SDef/30 Def
    -Body Slam
    -Crunch
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk

    Salamence@ Life Orb / Leftovers
    224 HP / 12 ATT / 196 DEF / 76 SPEED

    -Dragon Dance

    Bronzong@Leftovers
    Relaxed
    252Hp / 200Def / 58SDef

    -Reflect
    -Stealth Rock

    Yanmega@Wise Lens
    Modest - Speed Boost
    252 SAtk / 252Spd / 6 HP
    -Protect
    -Bug Buzz
    -Air Slash
    -Hidden Power [ICE]

    Starmie@Leftovers
    Timid - Natures Cure
    172Hp / 122 SAtk / 216 Spd
    -Surf

Hmmm, firstly, i would get yourself a better sp.wall, Blissey, snorlax, may be cool to beat up scarf Gar. >> Cress IMO.

    I use 252 HP / 200 DEF / 58 SP.DEF @Relaxed on my Zong, Hypnosis/Gyro Ball/Steal Rock/Reflect <<Which helps with Tar and can easily handle D-E...

Make your mence Bulky 224 HP / 12 ATT / 196 DEF / 76 SPEED @Jolly Dragon Dance/Dragon Claw/Earthquake/Roost to beat up heracross AND Lucario.

Id advise against Tentacruel and toxic spikes on a team this hera weak, may i suggest Starmie >> Tenta now that cress is gone, it also ensures that you have a Gyarados and Mixape counter aswell.

Lastly drop either mamo or Breloom for a sp.sweeper now that your mence is physical and bulky.

I also see a problem with Cresselia walling your entire team, maybe in that sp.sweeper slot something to deal with that may be advisable AKA. Gengar, Yanmega etc...

would bulky mence be able to survive a draco meteor?
i just happen to run into specsmence alot too.

so my team would look like this after these changes? sorry my brain is half dead at the moment, I've been witting too much English essays.

    Breloom
    Bulkymence
    Bronzong(your set)
    BulkyStarmie
    RestTalkLax
    Cressellia?

would bulky mence be able to survive a dracometeor?

Why would you even leave it in on one of those =/. No is the answer...Its meant for late game sweeps and for switching in on PHYSICAL attacks, hence why i mentioned Lucario and heracross...

This is why a special wall comes in handy see Snorlax and Blissey...

EDIT : I would forget Cress, you already have a status absorber in Lax, get a special sweeper that is able to do something to foe cresselia (who walls your entire team), e.g Gengar Yanmega etc.

If you're going w/ Blissey, try this:

    Blissey@Leftovers
    40 HP / 252 DEF / 216 SP.DEF
    Calm nature
    Trait : Natural Cure
    - Thunderwave
    - Seismic Toss
    - Softboiled
    - Aromatherapy

    And for Snorlax:

    Snorlax@leftovers
    244 HP / 28 Def / 236 Sp.D
    Careful nature
    Trait : Thick Fat
    - Body Slam
    - Crunch / Earthquake / Fire Punch / Pursuit
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk. D:

with the heracross threat gone, how about celebi's, zapdos and other ground types?

with the heracross threat gone, how about celebi's, zapdos and other ground types?

Tyranitar counters Celebi pretty well due to the Sandstorm boost which pretty much renders Celebi's Grass Knot useless. Therefore, is a great counter, if not, the best counter there is. Blissey just renders Zapos set-up fodder unless it's a physical gimmick set, which is pretty uncommon. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen it on Shoddy. =/ Electrivire; Lanturn; and Jolteon can benefit from Zapdos's Thunderbolt, which pretty much renders it useless also, because all it can do really is Drill Peck w/ the gimmick set. Even so, Lanturn is pretty bulky, so it doesn't hit him that hard. Jolteon is pretty fragile, and may not like repeated Drill Pecks.' I'm not sure about Electrivire, though.

As for the ground types, do you have a specific one in mind? If not, I really can't say anything here =)

Snorlax is awesome! lol at those gengars that switch into crunch for some strange reason..
swampert can be a zapdos counter. a physical one..

i'll edit my original post with the new team.

Don't fear Electivire. Mence can survive Ice punch and EQ it down. Breloom can Spore it and since it's base defense is only 67, anything super effective will hurt it pretty badly.

Mixape can 4/6 your team, so if you lose Starmie or Yanemga, and the other team is packing him...But if you can keep Mie alive, you can beat him.

Thats kinda why Starmie is a mixape counter >_<, if any team looses their counter for a specific pokemon, the same thing will happen.

I think a steel wall >> Swampert would benefit you ALOT, or weavile owns your team, it 2hko's swampert after a swords dance, Ice Shard owns Yanmega....yeah..Forretress, Bronzong etc wil help in that aspect...

    I think im weavile weak..

today i ran into a weavile and it kinda swept my team..

    Change breloom to dragonite................

What is your reasoning behind this? You can't just expect somebody to change a Pokemon without giving valid reasons.

I would touch on two pokemon I feel are slightly out of place - Breloom and Yanmega.

I myself find Breloom really good to use against an inexperienced player, but Breloom is extremely easy to predict, often following a standard pattern of either:

    • Spore, then Focus Punch
    • Sub, if
      • a threatening pokemon comes in, Spore
      • If an obvious RestTalker comes in, and is weak to Focus Punch/Seed Bomb (Heatran and Milotic fine examples), attack first
To follow up the second step you can block its attacks with a wall THEN switch out to said RestTalker to take Spore and Breloom is walled for eternity.

It doesn't help that base 70 speed is lacking and Breloom is for the most part, either too slow when Adamant or hits a lot less harder when Jolly.

Yanmega takes 50% from Stealth Rock on the way in and as such is only viable for a lead or with a Spinner, which your team lacks.

I would advise a more threatening sweeper over Breloom, I would recommend Heracross to break Cresselia which your team has trouble doing. I would recommend the Choice Scarf set (216 Speed EVs) over the Choice Band set because of Dugtrio - you would need Heracross to break Cress and such.

Tyranitar also poses a major threat to your team able to OHKO almost every member of your whole team. I would recommend SpecsLucario > Yanmega, 4x resistance to both of Tyranitar's STAB moves is great and SpecsLuke can also aid a Heracross sweep by ridding you of Gliscor.

Simply use Heracross first to scout for the physical walls, and get Lucario in and use the attack that would severely damage said wall.
Note: You would need HP Ice on Lucario to OHKO Gliscor, which may be hard to find for WiFi

yeh breloom is quite predictable. but if theres no sleep clause then it would be really fun.

mmk imma test out your suggestions to see if it would suit me better. thanks.

And would screw the game up and make it not fun for the other opponent usually. =/ For example, my luck is faildisc.. Srsly. =/

Any Pokemon with the 3 Elemental Punches will MURDER this team.

    Breloom@Toxic Orb
    40Hp/252Atk/218SPd
    Jolly - Poison Heal
    -Focus Punch
    -Seed Bomb
    -Substitute
    -Spore

Good, just max out Attack and Speed.

I run jolly to out speed most things. usually works really well if the opponent doesn't expect it.

    Snorlax@leftovers
    Careful - Thick Fat
    244Hp /236 SDef/30 Def
    -Body Slam
    -Crunch
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk

I would do Return>Body Slam, but you're probably using it for the 30% chance of paralysis, so its ok.

    Salamence@ Life Orb / Leftovers
    196 HP / 252 Atk / 60 Spd
    Jolly/Adamant
    -Stone Edge/Fire Blast/Thunder Fang/Fire Fang/Aerial Ace
    -Earthquake
    -Dragon Claw/Stone Edge/Fire Blast/Thunder Fang/Fire Fang/Aerial Ace
    -Dragon Dance

    Meh.

    Bronzong@Leftovers
    Relaxed
    252Hp / 200Def / 58SDef
    -Gyroball
    -Hypnosis
    -Reflect
    -Stealth Rock

    Yanmega@Wise Lens
    Modest - Speed Boost
    252 SAtk / 252Spd / 6 HP
    -Protect
    -Bug Buzz
    -Air Slash
    -Hidden Power [ICE]

    Nice.

    Starmie@Leftovers
    Timid - Natures Cure
    172Hp / 122 SAtk / 216 Spd
    -Surf
    -Thunderbolt
    -Rapid Spin
    -Recover

    Good.

Pretty good team for the most part.

Lord Mike, you do realize that salamence he has is to counter Lucario and Heracross right ? And was one of the factors he wanted to fix with his team hence the" Heracross ate my team" title.

Taking away from its Def, AND speed AND Roost is not helping with Heracross.

you know for Weavile, you could drop seed bomb on Breloom for Mach Punch. Should OHKO and he wouldnt see it coming
