    here it is the dreded question:

    if you dropped your game on the floor and lost all your pokemon in the new games R/S/FR/LG would you start again or would you give up?
    just imagine having all 200 in your pokedex after a lot of hard work

    Start again, considering I've been through this before.

    What happened was I used a memory cartridge...thing (saves about 100 games on it) for my Silver game after having a near complete Pokedex and well trained level 100 Pokemon. Apparently, something went wrong (most likely bad connection) and it corrupted the data. I never used that thing again, and in frustration, I breeze through the game with a Game Shark to get back to the status I was at (I'd never use a GS otherwise, but this just took the cake).

    I'm not very good for trying to do things. I have terrible will-power. If I ever become a smoker (of which I'm not), I probably wouldn't be able to give up with my lack of will-power. Saying that, if it dropped on the floor, I'd probably just leave it. I'm addicted to Animal Crossing anyways. ^_^

    Thats not too bad of a senerio. I mainly play games to beat them, so if I basically beat the game as much as one could...or to a degree where it can be concidered beat, I wouldnt try to go for it again.

    Now restarting just to train up pokemon to out do my friends...that I would probly do...actually tahts what Im doing now with Ruby...over 60hrs and I only have three badges, but also 40pokemon at level 25.

    I usually end up restarting my games after 4 or so months anyways. So I wouldn't mind restarting.

    Since there are no real competitive battlers in my area, I play 'till I beat the E4, then restart.

    This is why you keep backups. ;o

    Seriously, it's happened to me, and I've picked it up again. I did countless complete games of RBY anyways. @@;

    Its also happend to me, (Thats what I get when I let little kids touch my stuff), at first I was just angry after all that hard work, but a week or so later after cooling down, I just do it again, and improve on some of the mistakes that I made.

    I lost my sap in england and ive just got ruby i hate having to do it again wah

    After,i get the party i want to level 100,i usually start over.
    So yes,if i dropped it i would start over,im not that far right now anyway XD.

    I'd probably get all upset and refuse to ever play again..but then probably would in a couple of weeks XD

    I lost it to transfer pak. *Sniff* It took my yellow and erased it when I was playing Stadium; I cried so much my mom gave me my birthday present early, and insisted I have a new N64 to be sure it wouldn't happen again. o_o

    i would do the gameshark one as well...once you get it, i see no problem in "going back" to what you once had...with a different method tho... ;) i just think it's bad to get something you haven't gotten without cheating.

    If that happened to me than I would probably not play that paticular game for a while, but I would when I'd calmed down cos the poke games are too cool! :D
