    Hey guys, this is guitarhero01234, or gh for short. I've been kind of interested in romhacking for a while, and just started to plan my own hack. Other than that, there's not really much to say about me; I'm just an 18-year-old music nerd living in upstate New York. Anyway, I hope to talk to you guys soon! :)

    And a big welcome to you, GH! Nice to see more people around our forums, and I'm sure you will definitely have fun with whatever you decide to look at here!

    So, a ROM hacker I see? Looks like your favorite section will definitely be the very huge ROM Hacking boards which has lots of tools you can use in your hacks, as well also being able to see hacks created by others, and the Beginner's Lounge can give you handy tips and advice, looked over by the resident mods, Christos and Spherical Ice.

    I do hope that will make you want to stay around and eventually check out the rest of the forums as well, but I do wish you good luck with getting active and if you need help, you can always ask any staff members for assistance!

    Thanks! Actually, I just signed up for Youtube with this username when I was 11 and obsessed with the Guitar Hero games, and it just kind of stuck. I haven't even played them in years. :P
    Also, forgot to mention this, my username is always in lowercase letters. Failure to comply with this (admittedly stupid) stipulation is punishable by death by bubblebeam squad. You have been warned.

    A music fan, eh? What sort of music do you listen to? I'm a bit eclectic in my tastes, although when I'm not listening to anime or video game OST, I typically listen to classical and metal. You might want to check out the Culture & Media board if you're of a mind to - music discussion goes on there. We also have a Music Listener's Club that I'm sure would be thrilled to have you :3

    It's wonderful to hear you've stuck with Rom hacks for so long, and I do agree with you - they're all pretty great! I tend to favor rom hacks like Dark Rising and Liquid Crystal though, but they're all nice. xD

    Feel free to check out the sections the others have already listed, as well aaaaas anywhere else that catches your eye! You can have a look at the Helpful Links thread if you want some guidance on getting started around here, like some recommendation links and such! c:

    Really, there's not too much that I won't listen to :P You'll find pretty much everything in my iTunes from light ambient to Devin Townsend and Carcass. I do come back to metal most often though, and I've been working on writing some experimental metal stuff.
