Hey :) My name is Emmie, and I just got back into playing the Pokemon games after discussing it with a friend last week.
I've got Yellow and Pearl, and I ordered Ruby off the internet yesterday. My copies of Diamond and Gold to have disappeared, though... Oh well, at least I've got Ruby to look forward to!

I've been into Pokemon since I was seven (I'm 21 now), and currently I'm playing through Yellow, and doing the Christian Playthrough challenge on Pearl. Hope to meet some cool people while on these forums :)

Welcome aboard, by the way!. :) I was 8 or 9 when I got into Pokemon, and I am somewhat the same age as you are currently. We also have a Christian Challenge here at PC, located at the Challenges section of the forum. That, plus all other challenges you may want to try out after doing your current one!

Oh yeah, we're cool people. You'll meet some incredible friends, and meet great people who share one common thing: Pokemon! So, have a great time and don't hesitate to come to me for any help. :)

First you might want to check the rules and then start posting. More posts you have, more advances you get, like putting images to your posts and getting access to the blogs. PC have IRC channel too so check it out too.

Hey there, Emmie! I think you should also take the chance to try out other challenges and stuff after you're done with the current challenge, no? I'm more of a no-challenges and just plain old fun guy, though. Hmm...

My, it's been a long time since we're all on Pokémon... XD We all three have been playing for a long time, maybe some with skips, but I have never skipped a generation. Must be that love. :D

Welcome to the forums, Emmie! It's great if you have someone you know in real to discuss Pokemon with, which explains why my favorite games among the bunch is the second generation games! With the reason that I was able to discuss it with my friends, and play it together with them! But don't worry, you will surely enjoy the current games as well as the likes of FR/LG, R/S/E, and the spin offs! And why the heck did your copy of Diamond & Gold disappeared? u__u

Do you also follow the anime by any chance? I doubt you are though, since your 21 now, but that doesn't matter, does it? And I'm sure you will have a lot of fun here, as well as meet a bunch of friends too! Take your time to explore the forum, I guarantee you that you would find something here that would really suite your interests! :P .. And not to worry, PC is diverse!

My Ruby version just arrived today, but it looks like I'm gonna have to do some trouble-shooting. Has there already been a post about that done? I try not to start any discussions in the wrong area/start something that another person has already brought up.

Umm... I'm not sure what my favorite one is yet. I remember liking the Hoenn region a lot (this is my second copy of Ruby). Crystal will always have a special place in my heart since I loved having the chance to actually play as a girl, lol.

I never really watched the Anime a lot, but I did watch the first three movies, and I had a few episodes on tape. Mostly I'd just watch it if I got the chance to because I didn't know what channel it was on. Back in my day, we didn't have all this digital-TiVO-whatnots. Damn kids and their rock n roll, GET OFFA MY LAWN! *waves a cane in the air*

And don't worry about me being a total n00b, I make sure to read forum rules so I don't make a pest of myself. :)
