I really don't have a favorite game but my favorite region has gotta be Hoenn.
My favorite Pokemon are Steelix, Kabutops, Shiftry, Pinsir & Gorebyss. I really like the "ugly/underrated/unloved" Pokemon.
Oh and my favorite gym leader is Lt. Surge. Aww yee

I mostly joined this place 'cause I've been interested in hacking but I've never got around to doing it. I saw that you guys have got a pretty big community in that area and maybe now I'll get motivated to start trying it out myself!!

Oh, those are underrated indeed, but I have no problem with that. xD Glad you're one of the people that appreciate those kinds of Pokemon! I ADORE LT Surge. He's the roughest toughest of all the Kanto gym leaders (second choice is Erica).

Welcome to the forums, by the way! Glad to see that our hacking community has interested you in becoming part of this amazing community we have here. You'll pretty much find what you'll need for hacking, though! Like for example, the tools you need, the tutorials worth reading, as well as any help you might need in the future, we have it!

Hello Spiffee, welcome to the forums! I think those underrated/unloved Pokemon are unique, why? Simply because unique ones aren't overrated such as the likes of Pikachu, obviously he's the mascot franchise so yeah. As well as the legendary ones. But anyway, this is my first time meeting a PokeFan like you who loves those kind of Pokemon, what an interesting person you are! :'o

PC actually is the biggest-English ROM Hacking community in the web where the famous Pokemon hacks were made such as Pokemon Shiny Gold, Pokemon Prism and a lot more! I'm a beginning hacker too, I found the tutorials worth reading, especially the scripting tutorial which is in my opinion, the hardest one to learn, although with the help of the members there, I am learning slowly but what's important is that I can assure that I will be a good hacker. There are tools that you will need in hacking, and you can find everything in the Toolbox section. Looking forward to see you around there. :D

Hello Spiffee!

I like Shiftry's design too! It's much like Jiraiya from Naruto. Also, Steelix, Pinsir, and Kabutops are great Pokemon also wiht thier rugged-body and such. For me, no Pokemon is ugly enough to be called ugly. unless the pokemon is Garbodor. :)

Mmmmm I love Hoenn too. :3 R/S/E were the first games that I played through where I was really into the games (I had Crystal before, but I was young and didn't know completely what I was doing XD). Welcome! :3
