If you're an aspiring hacker, you should totally dig around our Emulation section! It's got tutorials, tools, and even mods to help you along the way. PC has one of the biggest Pokemon ROM hacking communities around, so I'm sure it'll be a lot of help. n__n
But you're right though, we are very nice! The community is extremely active too, so there's always somewhere you can post. Stick around and enjoy your stay - you won't regret it! :D Just make sure you read the rules and such and you'll be good to go.
