Hey everyone! I'm Cyanox and I'm the new guy. Or one of them, at least. This is a pretty popular forum, is it not? You must get new members all the time.

Anyway, I'm not exactly new to forums. I've been a member of many different forums in the past, and most of them were somewhat inactive and dull. I, being a Pokemon fan, decided to join this lovely-looking community after hearing quite a bit about it from my friend (I'll have to ask him what his username is here). I've been lurking for a few days now, kinda scouting out the place before I decided to join. And here I am now.

So! I've been a Pokemon fan since 2003/4-ish. Around the R/S/E time. I've played through every main series game to date, including X and Y (Y for me) and have loved all of them. I've also played most of the spin-offs. ^{PMD2 is awesome}
I also enjoy a variety of things such as anime, video games, reading, etc. I'm pretty open to anything, and I have no problem trying out new things.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people here and hopefully becoming an active member. Thanks, everyone!

And yes, PC is indeed a wonderfully active place full of great boards to post in, and even great members too. Mmm, so I see that you like video games as well - what sorts of video games do you like? I'm more of a Nintendo fanboy myself, as I especially enjoy Fire Emblem, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Kirby, and some other nintendo things. Ah but of course, outside of nintendo, the Tales series, Ace Attorney, and so on are also really amazing to play. Maybe check out the Video Games board? To see the different types of video gaming discussions that goes on in there? Ah, but for anime stuff, you are more than welcome to try out the forum's Anime & Manga sub-forum on the Culture and Media board to chat about your favourite anime too!

Can I just say I approve of your Cacnea avatar and signature? One of my favorite grass types; I trained one in Sapphire and never did evolve it, heh. Welcome to the forum, Cyanox! It is totally awesome to meet you. n~n

Yeah, this is a pretty huge community so I imagine it's quite a chance to come here from less-active forums. I originally joined in 2006, was overwhelmed by everything and left after tinkering with ROM hacks a bit, and then returned in 2011 with a much better understanding of how everything worked. This place is quite straightforward once you truly get into it. :)

But aaa I wish I played PMD more! Only one I played was Gates to Infinity and PMD fans have said it wasn't up to par with the older games. Guess it's never too late to try, though, so maybe I'll pick up a copy of the DS game. Anyways, before I ramble on, have an awesome time here, Cyan! We all hope to see you around plenty.
