ROM hacks are awesome, they're very popular around here also and we have plenty of people working towards making their own. =o Non-hacked games are good too though, I'd recommend checking the Game Development & Games Showcase areas for those.

Heya Malek, welcome to PC! ROM Hacks are super popular around here, and there are always many progressing hacks that users around the community are working on. Like Sheep said, Game Development and Games Showcase, and even ROM Hack Studio are areas that might interest you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I hope you decide to stay active outside of those areas though! :D
