Hey, I'm new.
Here is a little background info on myself:

- I hope to become well-known on PC
- If your wondering,I'm not from Japan. I just like Japan. =P
- I like to play football.
- I usually play on ShoddyBattle
- I consider myself a decent battler. I still have room for improvement.
- I enjoy graphic desining in my spare time.
- My favorite food would have to be Pizza.

Shoddy Battle, eh?
I can't say that I'm too much of a competitive battler myself, however; there are quite a few over them here. If you want, you can brush up on your strategy over in the Strategies and Movesets section. I know for a fact that it is just full of different teams and tips on making great competitive teams. Just an idea on how you can spend some of your time here. ;D

To tell you the truth, there are a lot of Japanese user names here, and most of those people aren't Japanese either. The language is very cool, indeed, and most of us share that common interest. I suppose it only makes sense, eh? Considering Pokémon is a Japanese franchise.
Perhaps you would enjoy the content over in the Japanese Entertanment section? ^.^
(By the way, I share your passion for East-Asian.)

Don't worry about becoming well-known here at the community. If you truely are kind, helpful, and active; I'm sure you will find yourself with more fame than you can handle! Though, you should probably just make a few good friends to start with, eh?
(After all, half the fun in the Pokécommunity is sending fun VM's back and forth with your buddies ;D)
