From what I've heard he didn't get any art, or leastways not in that guide. Although that does tie in with the fact he has no VS banner in the game as well (I like how instead they went with the nostalgic Pokeball emblem done old-style akin to GSC, admittedly).

The art looks pretty good, and generally shows how much they've changed look-wise, or leastways some of them. Misty's face there though looks...well, overly-happy? Kinda hyper. 'I'M A GYM LEADER! =D' Kinda sticks out, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing - amusement can be good. XD

I noticed Misty looking extremely happy/excited especially compared to Sabrina. (The personality of Misty's artwork matches her animation, though.) I think her being super happy is because she has a boyfriend now. (who appears to be shy.) =D (I mean, she was on a date before battling you.) Her new look is cool. I like her hair.

They don't need to redo Red's artwork, seeing as how his outfit is exactly the same as it was in FrLg. XD I like the nostalgic pokeball emblem before battle.

I wouldn't be surprised if I ran into Blaine in Las Vegas hittin' the slots.

Brock looks cute.
Janine and Sabrina look cool. (Sabrina's gym is awesome.)
Erika looks so innocent. Her dress is pretty. I like the flowers on it.

Each Gym Leader with their new art work gained a sense of personality in their look. I guess saying Misty looks overly excited because she has a new boyfriend makes a good excuse for her look, adds a bit of side story to it. However, even though Red remains the same as he was in FRLG, it would have been nice for a new art work seeing as he plays a major part in teh game, the official ending that is.

One thing I can say about some of the Gym Leaders is that they do look older compared to before, which makes an improvement as it really shows a three year difference since Kanto's events to Johto's.

I'm really not fussed on Misty's new hairdo. It looks... Kinda like Morty? But her new outfit is nicer.

Green/Blue/Gary (whatever he's called o.o) looks so much win, love the outfit.

And Koga, surprisingly, looks really cool too.
