Blade, that's if I do do the emu, as the Pokéwalker one is Female, and it's more of a Male name...

Actually, I think I'm gonna start it on an Emu, I'll play HG as I intended to play it (With a Chikorita starter, mostly :P )

JOURNEY UPDATE

• Got through Mt. Mortar and picked up all the items I could
• Arrived at Mahogany Town
• Got back to Ecruteak City by water (the routes outside Mt. Mortar)
• Helped that sick Miltank and bought some Moomoo milk *Moooo!* xD
• Arived at Olivine City
• Cleared out the Lighthouse
• Got the SecretPotion for the Ampharos

SIDE-QUEST BATTLE

Battle comment:
Nothing really hard ... the Drowzee and Haunter needed only one Pursuit and the Electrode was PWND with one X-Scissor. Yay for Flow!

BTW I hope you like the VS. Eusine title that I made. Took me some time but it wasn't that hard to make ^_^

GYM BATTLE

Battle comment:
As you may guess I used only Wing Attack in this gym so every single pokemon was OHKO'd. Not even a tiny challenge for my awesome Scyther! xD

First I'd like to welcome you to the community! :]

So anyway ... onto the answer:
This is a challenge ... you can participate in it if you want :P

In this specific challenge you have to choose one single pokemon to use while going through the game.
For example ... I use Scyther and I have to fight with it in every battle! None other pokemon. Of course you can have other pokemon that you can use for HM slaves and you are allowed to use them pokemon in double battles too.

If you would like to participate or know more about the rules of this challenge I offer you to read the first post by The Opera Ghost where it's explained how to.

• Got back to Olivine City ... surfing
  [Still haven't caught a flying pokemon ... now let me write down to catch one before I forget xD]

Battle comment:
Jasmine ... now THAT was a hard battle. It took me 2 times trying to beat her! That OP, non-defeatable, destroying, big ... Steelix! That thing is a MONSTER!
Anyway ... I did beat it on the second try ... but it was kinda embarrassing >_<

And if it wasn't for that chance that Jasmine gave me when she didn't heal up her Steelix when it was on the red line ... jeez!

• Finally caught a flying pokemon - Farfetch'd
• Flew back to Mahogany (I went there earlier, remember?)
• Got to Lake of Rage and caught the red Gyarados
• Back to Mahogany Town to clear out the Team Rocket HQ...

Nothing interesting ... as usual it was easy for Flow.
Pretty much no challenge since the start of my solo run ... if we don't count Jasmine xD

The double battle with Lance by my side versus rocket executive Ariana and a team rocket member. It was like I'm battling a group of level 5 rattata >.<'

Aah ... good ol' Price. I just love that gym! Nothing really challenging in this gym for my over-powered Flow :]
Actually I expected to have some trouble in this gym since the weakness of Scyther to Ice attacks o_O

Let's see what will happen in the Blackthron Gym...

• After finishing the gym at Mahogany I flew back to Goldenrod to check out the Radio Tower
• Realized that I need the suit that I'll get from the Underground I went there right ahead
• Back to the Radio Tower ... where that pesky rival of mine blew my cover >_<
• Defeated all the Team Rocket members in the Radio Tower

Battle comment:
Once again I meet Petrel who's trying to trick me into believing that he's the owner of the Radio Tower ... does he really think I'm so stupid?!
Anyway - nothing hard ... again >_<

• After getting the basement key from Petrel I head for the Underground.
• Oh boy, oh boy! It's another Kimono girl!
• Let's go!

RIVAL BATTLE

Battle comment:
Nothing much to tell ... except that he was KO'd by Flow ... man this is getting easier and easier by the second :|

• After defeating my weak rival I head on to save the owner of the Radio Tower!
• After cleaning the underground the director gave me the card that unlocks the door at the 3rd floor of the Radio Tower (man I have to stop repeating that name >_<).
• Let's do this!

Ah, Proton! Haven't met him since the Slowpoke well ... nice to find some old comrades xD
At his best (as always) my Scyther takes on the battle and makes Proton's life miserable xD

Anyway back to this dimension and this battle. Not a big challenge ... only that Houndoom that almost made my Scyther to a toast ... but Flow took it like a champ! Yay for him! :D

• Back at Mahogany town I head onto Route 44 and the Ice Path
• Defeated all the trainers on the route
• Continuing on I come across ...

Aah ... the Ice Path! For me that is THE best place in the whole Johto region for me <3
It's so beautiful! And the music is so relaxing <3 They've really done a great job re-making this place! Well done GameFreak. Love ya!

Anyway back to our main job ...

• As we arrive at Blackthorn City me, Flow and the rest of the party members head for the Pokemon Center to heal up and get ready for a ...

GYM BATTLE

Battle comment:
Hmpff ... I thought that at least this battle would be challenging. So after all the only though battle I had was in Olivine City Gym? Man oh man ... this Scyther is a monster xD

Anyway let me say something about the battle for a change ... the only items I did use were a Paralyz Heal and a Hyper Potion ... yeah thats all!
So first I sent out one Bellsprout (that I use for CUT) to take on the Intimidate from Gyarados and when it fainted I sent out Flow ... nothing really special :[
Like a battle with some mid-leveled party of Rattata (didn't I say that earlier too? xD).

And of course another n00b gym leader that doesn't give me the badge right ahead :|

Myself and Totodile! has changed our Solo Runners. We are startign afresh with Riolu ( Me ) and Zangoose ( Totodile! ). We are both naming our rivals after each other so it will be Cyrus ( My Rival ) and Adam ( His Rival )

I got bored of Scyther ... there wasn't really any challenge except the Olivine Gym
so I decided to start a new solo run - this time with something that doesn't have
big advantages in the game ... Zangoose!

Actually Adam (The Opera Ghost) got a great idea to name our rivals after each other!
Isn't this great? Sounds good to me ... I'm going to humiliate him. MUAHAHAHA! xD

So here goes ... Cyrus and Fury! begin their adventure!

I don't wanna ruin your show but you just got KO'd by a single Quick Attack from Fury!

BTW maybe I should mention that my rival has got Cindaquil and I've got a Chikorita :]

After we make our rival fail hard, Me and Fury! go back to prof. Elm's lab to finish our work.

When we leave Newbark town Lyra learns us how to catch pokemon ... boring >_<

• Beat Cyrus with two quick attacks to his Chikorita​

• Leveling Up Tekken Like Crazy, He Is Now Level 13​

THE SPROUT TOWER​

• Beat All The Trainers and leveled up Tekken some more
• Beat the Grand Master easily though his Hoothoot annoyed me.
• Im ready to take on Falkers Gym!​
• I Levelled Up Tekken To Level 15 Before Falker because Flying Types will Hurt!​

FALKNERS GYM​

• Bird Boys Abe And Rod fell before Tekken with one Force Palm to each of their pokemon.

And Then Came :

I thought this would be a hard fight
but Pidgey got 1HKO with Force Palm
and Pidgeotto had a 2HKO With FP.
Gust didnt affect me much.

I'll be doing this on my R4 translated version of HeartGold, seeing as my battle team is on the Soul Silver cartridge that I bought in store, and I won't be restarting that game. :)

Can I use the Action Replay function on my R4 in order to obtain the Surskit before the first Rival Battle? I'll make sure I pick Toto as the starter so I have a challenge against Chikorita/Bayleef/Meganium :P

Game So Far
- Turned Game on at 19:52 GMT. Picked Male character, named "Logan".
- Obtained Totodile from Prof. Elm.
- Obtained PokeGear from Mom.
- Began the journey to Mr. Pokemon's house.
- Embarked out onto Route 29.
- Captured my solo runner, Surskit, nicknamed "Midge"
- Entered Cherrygrove City, and obtained the Running Shoes from that sweet old man.
- On the way out of Cherrygrove City, the sweet old man came back and handed me the Map AddOn for my PokeGear. What an awesome guy :)
- Received the Apricorn Case from that man who's house I nearly bypassed.
- Met up with Mr. Pokemon and Prof. Oak.
- Received a Pokedex from good old Oak.
- Received the Mysterious Egg from Prof. Oak, intriguing.
- Left Mr. Pokemon's house and got a call from Prof. Elm, he sounded pretty stressed and urgent, I wonder what the problem could be? :S
- Defeated ??? and his Chikorita, and stole his Trainer Card so I could get his name, he was not amused.
- Named my Rival "???" because I'm cool like that. Apparently he stole a Chikorita, oh the insanity of it all!
- *sarcasm on* Went back home to have a very lengthy discussion on the difficulties of leaving to challenge the Johto Gym's: "Mom: So you're leaving on an adventure... Okay!" *sarcasm off*
- Lyra gave me a very educational lesson on catching Pokemon with her Marill.
- Checked Midge's stats, and realised that it has the Quirky nature... fail.
- Got Youngster Joey's phone number, looks like his Rattata has a near-perfect IV Spread.
- Turned Game off at 20:44 GMT. Play Time 0:52.

Worth-Mentioning Scenes
- First Rival Battle: Okay, I went into this battle with my level 10 Midge, and I was battling against his Chikorita, he got me down to half health with a lucky critical hit on Tackle, and I downed him with 3 Quick Attack's. Nothing major for a first battle, but hey everyone has to start somewhere :P. Being put to half-health after a few Tackle attacks means this will be a difficult solo-run, I'm definetely going to enjoy this one. ;)
