HeartGold hack: HGSS Golden Edition

Hello, do you know an easy way to get the other 2 Johto starters without having to trade? I wanted to complete the pokedex since your game is very good, but I'm only missing Chikorita and Cyndaquill
 
Help, please!

I'm having problems trying to patch this game. I have the .rar file from here and the EU v10 ROM file of HG. But I can't find a patch site or resource that anyone's used to actually patch the game without a site saying "ROM file too big to patch".

Friend,the easiest way is to get unipatcher for your phone,yeah HG is 128mb so many online patcher just won't do,and using unipatcher is pretty straight forward,hope this helps

I know with Platinum when I used HM delete cheat it would delete the HM from my bag..so maybe you've got a point. I hope this gets figured out at some point because HM's are such a pain in the ass especially in Platinum and I hate wasting a pokemon slot on an HM slave.

You gonna be waiting years my dude. GBA ROM Hacking took off in the last 5 years alone thanks to CRFU/pokeemerald expansion. NDS ROM Hacking is slowing catching up, but even the current tools are not as accessible for most devs. It's why the only ones really messing with it is the ones creating the tools themselves.
 
Hey I'm not sure about the level up moves. It says "as close to gen 8 as possible." for this hack, but my Vulpix didn't learn flamethrower at lv.24, however for gen 8 it says it learns it at lv.32. But Steelix, who's rock slide is an egg move for gen4 learns rock slide at lv.20 in gen 8. Which I wasn't prompted to learn once I reached lv.20 with Steelix. So I don't know what's going on.
