Welcome to BillNye's HGSS Tilesets!​

All of the following are made from scratch and are open to the public, unless i say they aren't.
I'm trying to follow Kyledove's style, but I'm struggling on some points, so if you have some tips, please tell me!​

No Credit Needed! I fixed up Nintendo's tiles, nothing original...yet.

Wow, these are nice! I really prefer the more subdued colors. One slight issue, though... The coffee table and sofa aren't quite on perspective with the rest of the tiles.

thanks! I know about the perspective issue, im still trying to adapt kyledove's style, without help, so I'm really struggling.
If you have any tips so i can improve, please tell me. and try to be as harsh as you need to be, i need real criticism.

I must say I like your tiles alot. They look very nice. Keep it up. Im kind if anxious to see something completely original from you, the tiles look nice so something custom coming from you would be cool.

i literally just started a few weeks ago, so don't expect something that's my own. Right now, I'm going to do HGSS and try revamps, then buildings, and finally try some nature. Mabye after that ill attempt some new stuff.

I really don't think I'm ready to do any tiles of my own yet. haha
I wrote on the first thread that OF COURSE(!!!) you can use them :D
These are originally nintendo's, so all I ask is you credit them. :D
have fun and put em to good use!

Expect some new tiles this weekend.

I'll post up saturated tiles only, cuz otherwise, it gets annoying.

Some places are exaggerating a bit, think of the mini when you go to the place and proportion, to make it better ^^, for example, the entrance route seems disproportionately large, pro good in general are pretty good :P

I like your tiles, but the thing is... with Kyledove's style, he dulls the colors, whereas you're keeping the game's true palette (saturated). You might want to either recolor the bookshelf of his that you used, or make one on your own. But mixing Kyledove's tiles with those similar to the actual game will give an ugly contrast. I do want to see more though, and I too would like to see you attempts at custom tiles.

Oh yea, the route entrance is one I'm really not proud of. I will fix all the errors later though. thanks though! :D

Yes, I saw that too. There were too reasons I added the bookshelf.
1 I was too lazy to make my own
and 2 I wanted to see if my tiles were compatable with kyledoves, which they weren't, but oh well.
Yea it does look really bad :P

And many have been asking for custom tiles, so I'm working on some custom kitchen/bathroom tiles.
Stay tuned, the next update will be really big, plus original tiles!

Ahaha! Cute, lol. I remember seeing Kyledove's bathroom tiles for his MMORPG thingy. I'm not a big fan of them (as you almost never see the main character eat), but for realistic purposes I guess they add to the game. Still, it did disturb me that his bathrooms never had a door... I can't wait to see what you've got!

Loved everything, I just don't like the sofa.
Just don't mess your sprites with Kyledove's sprites, If you do it, before placing them in the screens, recolor them ;)

But yea, I'm working on a door tile, but it's kinda hard.

Yea I messed up the sofa, and I'm gonna fix that in the update.
Kyledove's bookshelf was just a test, I'm gonna take that out later.

Keep it up. I like your tiles. Can you make me a baner with the image of Darkrai and Giratina. The titel should be"Shadow of Darkness" by Ðarkerm.
