4th Gen HGSS > Why so excited?

You know what, the rival, Silver, he really is another reason why I'm excited, and GLL makes a nice point on it. He only seems to be a real rival, tough, mean, and rugged.

I am pretty excited to see how Goldenrod City looks. Also I would like to hear the music of Azalea Town.

I'm not only excited for this game because of Goldenrod, I'm pretty much excited for this game to see how nice Johto loks with the new graphics.

I am also excited to see what they have in plan for us with the music. I hope it matches the towns and cities. I want to see what they do with the Elite Four and Gyms as well.

I'm exited cuz I played old silver version after playing yellow (as my first pokemon game), and it was freaking awesome, a big change, and a 2x sized world, lots of pokemon, and on and on... For sure that it wont be the same as playing the game again, since its not quite probable that there would be a lot of new things like there where at that time...

But still I will buy it and play it, having a game like that one, and with wi-fi and the other things from Platinum and besides having Kanto (I hope it does, if not it would suck hard) is already a great reason to buy it :D

To put it simply, HeartGold and Soulsilver are allowing today's newer generation of Pokemon fans to relive through the 'Golden' age when Pokemon was at it's height, and it's also a chance for veterans such as most of us on PC to experiance old favorites in a newer, more hi-tech way.

For me specifically, I'm excited because Pokemon Silver is my favorite video game of all time. I was 7 when it first came out, and mine corrupted when I was 10, so I'm silver-less. But now that SoulSilver is being released, I get to replay through, IMO, the best generation ever.

I am excited because there is a couple Legendary Pokemon I need to complete my Pokemon Diamond. As I am doing a 100% legit, no trading thing. I will be able to get the ones I needed. :)

I'm excited about the Pokémon Heart and Soul Silver Versions because... well, I'm always excited when Nintendo makes a new Pokémon game (or any game in general)! But, for these games in particular, I'm especially excited because I love the great 3D graphics and all of the amazing features that can be implemented into them. Heart Gold and Soul Silver is bringing back the best and most classic Game Boy Color game, and adding even more great stuff to it. I can't wait to travel the Johto and Kanto Regions again.

There are so many reasons why I'm excited for HGSS. So many that I cannot even sufficiently get them down in one post without making the page much longer than it usually is.

Ok, first is the nostalgia. I'm looking forward to playing the game because every step I take in the game is something else that I'll remember from my little kid days of playing the game. An example is certain Pokemon being battled or seen, Slowpoke Well, the Tin Tower, the awesome music, and so much more. It'll be awesome to just walk into a town and think, "Wow! I remember I'd just sit and listen to this music when I was eight!" While I can always recall my memories from playing the game (which makes me remember my surroundings and other memories while I was playing the game), it's so much better to just forget until it just comes and smacks me in the face in-game /probablydoesn'tmakesense.

I'm also looking forward to HGSS because of Johto and the native Pokemon. I haven't played a Pokemon game with Johto in it since my Crystal burned out when I was twelve (just to let you know, my most frequented game, Gold, died a year before that. Crystal was just its replacement), and I'm looking forward to playing in my favorite region. The native Pokemon were also great. I'll be able to hunt the dogs again and be able to Ho-oh for the first time in eight years. The starters too! Ohhhhh yay for playing a game with Cyndaquil again!

Then there's the rival and Red. In Gold, my rival wasn't named too well. The first three letters/symbols were m;l and the last three or four were something like jgfd. It got incredibly annoying to challenge him after awhile, so it'll be nice to have a better name. When it comes to Red, I never had fun challenging him. Time after time, I'd just bring my lvl 100 Typlosion and beat all of his Pokemon just by using Flamethrower or Flamewheel. How. Exciting. :/ Now I'll be able to keep bringing new Pokemon in to challenge him with to keep myself occupied. If he's in the game, that is.

Oh boy. Remember when you were younger and your starter Pokemon was wayyyy too many levels above the rest of your team? Well that was me. It took me countless times to beat the E4. When I finally did, my Typlosion was lvl sixty-four, compared to Pokemon in the twenties. Argghhh I wasted so much of my game time just raising Typlosion and ignoring the rest of my team. Now I'll be able to raise properly and have a fun time playing instead of spending a month trying to beat a single person with a single Pokemon. DDD:

And finally Icouldgoonandonbtw, I'll play the game for fun. There's nothing like taking any Pokemon game on a rainy day or when you're sick and just playing it. You can make your own little world out of it, and I'm looking forward to just playing Heart Gold. It's something that no one can change except you, and that's just awesome!

I am also excited to get the game to see the girl's new sprite. The starter following you made the game really cool.

Because its practically 2 games in 1.
And because Silver & Gold is hands down the best Pokemon game ever.

I'm excited because it means I get to be 9 again!!!
And the music, particularly the National Park theme, is just mindblowing.
Silver was just the perfect game.
They'd better not wreck this.

I am excited to see what they do to the rival, Silver. Also I want to see what they do with the Elite Four when you battle Lance.

Metal Gen is finally getting some recognition after millions of fans started cursing the games for low difficulty and love to bash the rival of this game, calling a wimp like Pearl "superior" because LOL lv 85 newbs. >_>

They should give him a cape for his later battles.

*_*
Lance shall have the cape from the beginning its only proper. Oh and cape animation should be expected. Its only right.
