    Hey everyone, thought I would make a thread here to introduce myself.

    I'm a 23 year old maths student studying in London and I've loved playing pokemon since I was a kid. My first game for my gameboy was pokemon blue and I've never looked back! I think I still have my old link cable from when I use to trade with my friends (and try to glitch copy pokemon by pulling it out early {XD}). Unfortunately I've been really strapped for cash and have still yet to get a 3ds to play X+Y although I've seen lots of youtube footage and have made it my personal mission to get one before OR/AS drops!

    I've been a lurker for quite a while on the forums as I love the ROM hacking community you have on here and have whittled away many hours playing through some of the submissions (Light Platinum is my favourite so far). I've also just started playing YAFRH which I've been told is really good so I'm looking forward to that. I thought that I should get involved in the community a bit more since I spend a fair amount of time on here anyway, so yeah, let's be friends!

    We're the same age! I got into Pokemon with R/B/Y myself and haven't looked back, either.. no reason to given how great the franchise is. Really am hoping you can buy X/Y sometime as they're some of the best games in the franchise (or so I think haha). They improved upon so many things so a 3DS is a very worthwhile purchase. :) Not just for Pokemon but for other games as well.

    Hey WreX, nice to meet you. I'm certain you'll enjoy PC and have a great time!

    Ah, the old generation games. RBY/GSC were really quite a challenge if you compare them to some of the newer generation games which really have a difficulty gap. Yeah, our ROM hacks are always nice to play, my favorite thus far has been Flora Sky, though Light Platinum comes in at a somewhat close second. A 3DS would be nice, because I have a feeling that ORAS is going to be great, especially from the various leaks and some of the gameplay footage I've seen so far. Good luck in getting that DS! You'll have to get the cart as well, though. :p But I'm sure you'll make it. :)
