    Just wanted to make an introduction post and say hello to everyone. I started playing Soul Silver a couple of weeks ago for nostalgic reasons and I am really getting back into it. I'm here seeking advice on EV Training and building the ultimate team in Soul Silver. Eventually I want to start battling some of you guys but I want your advice first so that I actually stand a chance. Glad to be apart of your community!
     
    I believe a few battlers here can give you the ultimate advice to create your perfect team! Glad to see ya here and welcome aboard. :)

    You should ask for team advice at the Battle Center, I'm sure the competitive battlers there can provide you the best advice possible for you to stand up to the best battlers as well as finishing up your Soulsilver. I must agree, however, that Soulsilver really gives you nostalgia. I have my own copy myself and oh my goodness, it takes me back!

    Hopefully you can participate in the many tournaments held there, and battle PC members here, and that's not the only thing we have here! So take your time to explore :D

    The Battle Center's your best bet for battles, from entering tournaments to having your teams rated, so I'm glad to see you've already posted there! Wish I could help you out a bit, but sadly I'm not yet a good enough competitive battler. Maybe someday, haha. Anyway, welcome to PC, Gyarados! :D

    Outside the Battle Center, you can also ask about EV help over at the 4th Gen Help Thread since you're planning on EVing in your SoulSilver. The regulars there would love to help you out! The 4th Gen section is a pretty great place on the forum overall though and has some really interesting topics for you to discuss, so hopefully you explore around there a bit more if you're interested. Have you tried the newer games yet, like Black 2 or White 2, or are you mostly sticking to the 4th gen for now? I loved HG/SS and am kind of wanting to restart mine, since I moved all my important Pokemon over to White anyway.

    A warm welcome to you to PokéCommunity! Maybe your new home. You will see that people here are very nice.

    I am also interested in Pokémon battles very recently. Unfortunately, in light of my impatience to train Pokémon very precisely (For EV etc ...) I opted for PokémonOnline ... But I've always loved the adventures of each generation anyway.
    Anyway, I never done to put the internet on my DS, so you're lucky, I think you will have fun! *Shame*

    A part of the old versions, did you already tested the new versions? They're really good, I like the new gameplay, like to get a Riolu at the beginning :3
    I'm kind of nostalgic too, I always prefered the second Generation, than the others.
    If you want to talk about that I advice you to go to the
    Fourth Generation
    (SS/HG), or even in the old versions in the
    Advance Generation
    (G/S/C).

    Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy your stay here, you will make many friends here, especially in the Battle Corner, your new home :3
