Cheers, and no problem at all sport! PC's got great opportunities to trade, and to have more friend codes for your friend safaris! First, allow me to be the first to say, welcome to the forum! <3
Now then, there's the X/Y Friend Code Sharing Thread over at the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y board, first of all. You can post your own Friend Code on there, and it's all being entered within the thread, in which it's organized so that you can see the friend codes and friend safari types that each member has, so, if there's a particular friend safari that you have your eye on, you can politely ask them to swap FCs with you via VMs or PMs! Annnd of course, there's our lovely Trade Corner. Specifically, you'll be able to trade with people over at the Trade Plaza section! You can ask for trades over at the quick trade threads, or browse members' shops! Just be sure to read the rules and guidelines if you haven't already, mmkay? <3
Annnd other than that, I hope you'll have fun! I hope that you'll enjoy the rest of PC as well! If you need a hand with anything, you can ask me at anytime! Or, another staff member, or a member in general around the forums would be more than glad to provide some assistance too! Nice to meet you, and have a wonderful stay here on PC, yeah? <3

No worries at all, as Aura said - you'll find a lot of safaris, trades, and other things so long as you stick around and post. That's the best way to get a feel for the community and make friends. We love active new members, especially those who stay with us for a long time and don't disappear. Always good to have more Pokefans, right? Welcome to the forum, Mew! :D
Wishing you luck on getting whatever you're on the prowl for. Be sure to check the quick trade threads over at the Trade Plaza for all your trading needs and.. well, just post around! You learn best by doing so having you explore would probably be the easiest way to get accustomed to everything, haha.
