I happen to be from Australia as well, so hello there Star!
I know the post above has covered a few things, but I feel that you will love this forum since there's a lot going around, even outside of Pokemon. Anyways, are you hyped for Sun & Moon or enjoying GO at the moment? There discussions going around regarding both games if you're interested.
That said, not much else I have but best of luck with getting active!
