Hello! I'm deerkittens. (such a bad username, I know -_-)

As you can see, I kinda like Cheren.. a lot. I love art, and I'm working on a Pokemon hack of my own. It's called Pokemon Cerise :)
I came to Pokecommunity mainly for the tutorials on ROM hacking ;)

My favourite Pokemon is Hydreigon, I'm female, I make sprites, and...that's it i guess..
Wow I'm really bad at writing things about myself {D:}

Anyway.. yeah.. that's all folks...

Ohai another 5th Gen fan! Unova is such an awesome region and it introduced the most unique-looking Pokemon in my opinion. Besides, it's nice to meet you Deerkittens!

Hydreigon is a really badass Pokemon and it has a cool type combination, and I do admit that Cheren is also one of my fave human characters from the Unova games as well so I can say that you're not on your own here. Anyways, you'll definitely enjoy the ROM Hacking section which is actually PC's most popular section given we have members who join solely for hacking. There's the Beginner's Lounge if you're looking for assistance on learning the basics, Tools & Resources for resources that can be used in your hack, and also Hacks Studio for showcasing your project.

As I'm not a hacker, I won't be of much help to you but if you ever need a break from hacking there's other areas you can check out so definitely consider looking around and see what you like. Have fun enjoying your time on the forum and I wish you good luck with your hacking project!

I actually think deerkittens is a pretty cute name to be honest, and I like it. I really do look forward on playing your new hack, although I'm not really into hacks. Hydreigon is surely one of my favourite Gen 5 pokemon, and it's arguably the strongest non-legendary.

How are you liking ROM hacking thus far? I used to be a hacker myself, and had found the process to be quite fun. I was more of a graphic-related person, and was on my way to learn scripting. Unfortunately, however, things seemed to have been pretty complicated when it came to this, and after a while, I wound up stopping. I wish I hadn't, though; I'm sure I could have improved on it if I'd continued.

Anyway, welcome to PokéCommunity, Deer; I hope you have a lovely stay here.

Cheren is adorable! He's one of my favorite characters in Pokemon, especially B/W2 Cheren. <3 He grew so much as a character and even became gym leader which I was very excited about.

Thank you! Haha, you think so? I decided to use deerkittens because on every other website I like to have the same username for everything :P

Good idea, I'll post my hack when I can :P I'm enjoying ROM hacking, even if it is a little challenging :)

I know how you feel, I focus on the graphics as well. I'm in the middle of learning scripting, and of course it's extremely complicated ~_~ I started hacking a year ago, then stopped, and now I'm back to hacking again XD This time I'll be sure not to quit though, I really want to finish my hack this time.
