Hi to all, I am Shackles.
Well I have been playing Pokemon since I was 9. Somebody bought me a fake pokemon silver lol. Then afterthat I saved up for pokemon yellow. My brothers gave me their Pokemon Red & Blue.

The last games I played (untill now) was on GBA the Ruby/Zafire/Emerald versions.

Now I have finally bought the 3DS, and have Pokemon Y.

Not been on English forums before, hope to enjoy it here, I am normally on spanish forums.

So, this is your first English-speaking forum right? I understand if you're only just learning to read English but I'm sure you can learn new words very quickly because we are an active forum. And you've come back to Pokemon after missing two whole generations? You should find time to catch up on 4th and 5th Gen once you get through X/Y. They were great generations in their own right.

Welcome, shackles!

There seems to have been lots of trouble with pokémon silver.. Fake cartridges, quality issues.. Too bad I guess :P
Like Hikari said, you should try Gen 4 and 5 too, they were absolutely amazing in my opinion! The stories, legendaries and the post-game too! but it's all a matter of opinion ^_^

Are you having fun playing Y? What starter did you pick? :) I finished the game pretty quickly but still poured a lot of hours into it before getting to the Elite Four. They're really fun games and I'm super excited to see what the third versions will be. Seems like Pokemon is only getting more and more awesome. The new 3D graphics on their own are enough of a reason to buy these.
