Hello! My name is Syd, and I recently joined PokeCommunity. (:

I'm very bad at introductions, but I'll try my best!

• I first got into Pokemon when I was 6 years old. I watched the anime first, and then played Yellow. I've been a fan ever since - I love playing the games, collecting merchandise, and watching the anime.
• My favorite human characters are Cheren and N, but I also love Ash, Misty, and Brock, too! As for Pokemon, I have a lot of favorites, but Pikachu will always be number one.
• I am big into fandoms and geek culture. I have no shame in saying that I'm a part of many fandoms, including the furry community.
• My username comes from the fact that I love to draw weight gain; and that my Poke Persona is a chubby Pikachu.

We're already pretty similar. I started with the anime and then moved onto R/B/Y; they were really amazing. It's awesome to have such a big Pokemon fan here! But.. shghgh Cheren is so, so cute. <33 He's been my favorite Pokemon character overall for a few months now. N is my second favorite, so you clearly have amazing taste. Send me a friend request and we can chat about Pokemon and etc! I'm sure we'd have lots to talk about. What generation's your favorite generation, if you have any? And maybe I can bribe you with Pokemon-shaped cookies to join the electric rodents fanclub? :) You can share your love for Pikachu there with the other members!

But PC is full of big Pokemon and anime fans as well as other people who are overall plain awesome.. I'm sure you'll love the community so go on and post. Maybe you can welcome your fellow newbies or just dive right into the many Pokemon discussion threads we have here? All on you. ^^ Just don't disappear since you're pretty much required to stick around as you've made an introduction, whoot.

Hello there Syd and welcome to PC!

I like Pikachu and Cheren as well, and in fact Pikachu was once my absolute fave Pokemon for four whole generations, not really my fave these days because I'm more of an Oshawott person now but Pika will always be a cutie in my eyes. N's a really awesome character too, and why not follow Cirno's advice and check out the Electric Rodents Club? You'll love it there, as well as the Pokemon Clubs section in general.

PC is a very diverse community so I'm sure you'll fit in with everyone here and I do advise you stick around as an active member since I don't wanna see newbies disappear, some leave like almost immediately after joining. I'm always happy to talk to you so leave me a visitor message on my profile, maybe even send a friend request because having friends can help you enjoy the forums easier. And there's staff members like Cirno who you can ask if you need help!

Ahh, I'm happy to see other Cheren and N lovers out there! Thank you for such warm welcomes - all y'all are sweet. C: And, I will totally join the Electric Rodents Club! [noms the cookies]

My favorite gens are Kanto and Unova - Both of them have great Pokemon and characters!
Black had a really great plot. It was different than the typical, "Bad guys want to take away the Pokemon." It had character development and twists! I have yet to play Black 2, though.
On the other hand, Kanto had simpler characters and designs. That Gen is quite nostalgic for many people, including myself, but I'm not going to shout, "GEN I WAS THE BEST," at anyone. I do wish that Misty and Brock would travel with Ash again, though.
