I want to make a tiny introduction about myself.

My name is Ursula, just like the character appearing in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series of the anime, and I am from Italy. I started to slowly become a Pokémon fanatic, long time ago, through the main video games dedicated to the franchise and my first ever purchased version was the Red one. So, now, after a couple of months without playing, I finally bought the recently released Scarlet version and I am ready for a new adventure. Other things I enjoy, aside Pokémon, include various anime/manga stuff and music listening.

Welcome! If I had to say so myself, despite the frame rate drops in Scarlet and Violet, they are the best main series Pokemon games I've played. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Have you decided who you're choosing as your starter yet?

I picked Quaxly as my starter in Pokémon Scarlet. What about you?
As for the Pokémon games I enjoyed the most, I'd say these are the fifth generation (Unova) ones since they completely renewed my love for this franchise.

It's nice to know you started with Red as well. I picked Bulbasaur there, but I'm not sure about who would my favourite starter of all time be, to say the truth. What about yours? As for the fifth generation, I played both Black and Black 2.

I went with the grass kitty, Sprigatito.
It's fully evolved by now, and although I was hoping for something better, I don't mind the final evo at all.
I'm currently playing through Violet at my own pace and have 4 team members that will be staying so far. Meowscarada, Grafaiai, Espathra and Flamigo. Caught all of these before I even went to the school in the game, though Espathra's previous stage was caught in a Tera Den.
Edit: No wait Tera Dens unlock after going to school don't they. I went back straight away afterward lol
Currently the other two slots are used to train mons to evolve them for the Dex.
I tend to make my teams as I go along; from mons I like, only keeping type overlap in mind.

Do you already have the other mons for your team in mind or will you just be adding random mons you like to it?

Can't go wrong with any of the Kanto starters.

I do like Meowscarada, though I think the three starters turned all around awesome this time. I don't actually know about the others, except for Flamigo, since I did not give a look to the Pokédex of Paldea in its entirety.
Right now my team is random and I'm stuck on the first area along with Quaxly, Fidough, Lechonk, Scatterbug, Tarountula and Hoppip. Just consider the first two members as definitive.
