That's okay! A short intro is a great intro! Anywho, I really love the Generation 3 pokemon games myself, and kudos for starting with pokemon ruby! That's a really great pokemon game, and I hope that you've enjoyed it! Seems like we have a lot of people who started around R/S/E which I personally find really cool given how much I adored the third generation. Sapphire was when my Pokemon love was at its peak and I frequently went over to my friend's house to battle, trade, and mix records. Replaying the game always leaves me feeling so nostalgic.
On that note, I'd also love to know if you tried X and Y yet. The sixth generation certainly is wonderful and lives up to all the hype surrounding it though every other Pokemon game before that is great as well. Here's hoping we all continue following the franchise for a long time. Have an amazing time here and be sure to contact a staff member if you need any help, yeah?
