I joined cause Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire have been out, and I am finally gonna get one of the two soon. Any recommendations which?? I used to play Pokemon, but stopped after Diamond & Pearl. Also, I like talking about all kinds of stuff so say hey sometime.

I can't exactly recommend one over another to be honest. I've never played Alpha Sapphire, but I'd assume they're the same apart from some of the Pokemon that can be caught (including the legendaries of course).

Have you ever played the original games? If you have, perhaps you could play the opposite version as I did.

Is Stantler your favorite Pokemon?

And if you like all kinds of stuff; maybe you could drop by [Trade Corner] sometime?

Hi Pink! Belated hello at least, haha. Welcome to PC. ^^

Both OR and AS are great games and aren't too different from the other so I recommend getting whatever you prefer. Version exclusives can be obtained pretty easily from the GTS/trade forums here so that's not a big deal. Personally I went for Alpha Sapphire because I found Team Aqua and Kyogre awesome but Primal Groudon is one of the best competitive 'mons out there due to its ability.

Welcome to the board! :-D.

I personally started with Alpha Sapphire but eventually came to play Omega Ruby. It really is the same game except that you get a different legendary monster in each of them AS = Big bad killer whale, OR = Big mecanical dinosaur. And you get to battle a different team of baddies in each game AS = pirates! OR = Pyromaniacs! I would say throw a coin toss, both are almost the same and as enjoyable.
