Hi!!! I'm Eternium on these forums. I usually go by Winter, but you can call me whatever you want to!

I'm 16 years old, and some things I'm into are writing, anime/manga, and gaming. I've been playing Pokemon for about 10 years at this point, starting with Sapphire. I love all of the main series games, but my favorites have to be Emerald and Platinum. It seems like most people's favorite generation is the one they started with, and I'm not exception. I wanted to meet more fellow Pokemon fans, so my friend recommended PC to me; I'm hoping to make a lot of friends here ♥!

You like writing then you should probably check out Roleplay area. You can polish your skill there. There is also pokemon anime section which you will certainly like. You can also check out forum games.They're good way to start in any forum. Try to stick around. There are so many interesting sections. Hope to see you around. Okay then bye ^^ .

Emerald is my favorite Pokémon game of all time! High five! Platinum was good too, but in my eyes neither it nor any of the newer games could beat Emerald. I don't care that much about 3D, online capabilities, or any number of innovative new features added in the newer gens, Emerald ftw!

Desinishon suggested you check out the Roleplay Theater, but he seems totally clueless about the fact that we actually have a Fanfiction and Writing forum! If you're interested in posting some of your stories there I'd be glad to read them!

We also have a section for every generation of Pokémon games, as well as an off-topic video games section as well if your gaming interests are more broad. Check 'em out!

I started my journey with gen I but III and V are my personal favorites. *_* Platinum was an especially great game too, haven't played it for yeaaars but I've only recently begun to realize how good it was after being too big of a Hoenn and Unova fan lately.. heh.

Nice to meet you, Winter. :D I'd love to see your stories sometime assuming you have plans to publish them on PC. Either way given the size of the community there'll always be a lot to do and we hope you'll settle in nicely. Plenty of friends around indeed if you stick around.

I'll definitely check out the roleplay area! I've done some roleplaying on other forums before, so I have some prior knowledge. I haven't actually actively watched the Pokemon anime since the end of Gen IV. I was used to most companions leaving, but Brock's departure threw me off. If it happens to be on and I have nothing to do, then I'll watch the new anime (which is more often than it seems). I am into other anime, as well. Thank you for the warm welcome <3

Thank you! I agree, the newer gens just don't feel the same, to me. They have their own strengths, but I still prefer the older gens. I'll definitely look at that part of the forum!

I can relate with forgetting how good Platinum was. I played Pokemon the most during Gen IV, but after that I wasn't nearly as into it for a few years. Emerald brought me back into Pokemon, so it was my favorite for a while. Recently, I loaned my Platinum to my friend and it's come come to one of my favorites. Now, I'm just waiting for him to finish so I can play it again.

Thank you! I haven't actually written anything related to Pokemon yet, but I'll write something to post on the forums eventually. I'm actually planning on writing a novel (it's not Pokemon related though).
