    Hello, my name is Patrick. I am here because I love pokemon games seeing rom hacks has reignited my love for it. I've been having trouble with a few but maybe with some help I could finally finish some.

    Welcome to PokeCommunity Patrick! Which ROM Hacks are you currently playing? Any you have plans to play in the future?
     
    Hi there and welcome to the community! By finish some, do you mean complete a fangame, or finish making your own? :)
     
    I do mean finish playing. my problem is afterwhile I get busy so its like hard to manage work and trying to finish rom hacks. and I'm currently playing a handful at once, and not doing too bad. I'm playing The Last Fire Red, I started Unbound, working on Light Platinum, and there's a few others but I think I have a hand on it for the most part as far as playing more than one at a time

    Have you played fan games (made for PC) too ?

    I am not familiar with Chrome Books, but if you can have emulators and ROM hacks working on it, I think you could just as well download and play fan games!
    I especially recommend Omicron, Solar Light - Lunar Dark, and Insurgence. And, if you like top level battles and hairpulling puzzles, there is also Reborn!

    I thank you for the suggestions. I've been very interested in xenoverse, reborn, rejuvenation and insurgence. I will look into it to see if I can play via emulator

    For fan games, you don't need to use an emulator. You can directly download and play them!
