Most highschools have just had their graduations for their senior classes and I figured it'd be interesting to see what people felt their highschool experience was like.

So how was it? Did you enjoy it? Did you hate it? Glad it's over? Now what?

(I know some of you are too young still, so you can just say what you hope your experience will be like OR how it is going so far!)

    - - -

I actually hated highschool for the most part. My first year was a mess, my second was great, third was miserable, and fourth was just really fast, which was great since I couldn't wait to get away from those people. ;)

I have enjoyed college about 1000000x more than highschool. It's nice not being stuck in a campus with people for 7 hours a day without escape, haha.

I'm currently 3rd Year College (2nd Year High school I think for those who don't live in New Zealand) I don't graduate for another 3 years. It's kinda different for me since I'm in a different timezone to the most of the people here and our school end isn't until December. I love my school although I have to admit I hate it for banning awesome sites like Youtube and stuff (But I'm happy the don't ban the forums I go to - PokeStation, Mysidia and Especially PokeCommunty!).

Since starting Year 11 (Grade 10(?)) Life's been so much harder (and exams and tests actually matter). As for people - I love my classmates. I go to an all girls private school and since we have such small classes everyone here are great friends (Homerooms can have 15-21 students - 21 students at max) so when we do leave in 3 years time we really will miss being together but I'm we'll keep contact via Facebook

    So how was it?
Freshman year was okay, sophomore was the best, junior year was a steaming pile of crap, and senior year was only slightly better than junior year.

    Did you enjoy it?
    No.

Did you hate it? Glad it's over?
Most aspects of it, yes, I did hate it. And yes, I'm glad it's over, but at the same time, I'm not.

    Now what?
I don't know. Coming off a 13 year routine is going to be the hardest thing I've had to do.

Hated it...mainly because yet again there was an excuse to restrict my computer access.

    I loved high school, lol.

    Freshman year was awesome, but my senior year was the best. I had such an amazing year this year ;-;
I miss all of my friends, but I'm glad it's over for the most part. Now, I'm off to college this fall to major in Psychology. Yay? ):

I LOVED my highschool year. As a freshman we were the only grade level in the school because it was just starting out. I didn't like some of the people but throughout our years we became like a family and we all supported each other till the end of our senior year. Every grade year a new batch of freshmans arrived so during our senior we were a complete school xD. I couldn't stand the last two grade levels of freshman and we could stand the first group of freshman to come in but they grew on us n.n.

Asidef from that I have so many fond memories of my high school that I wouldn't change for the world. I've meet some amazing friends and awesome teachers and staff along the way. Granted our freshman year was our best year because we were the only grade level in the school. Sophomore year was ok and when we became juniors we were able to start taking classes over at a nearby college so that was fun and plus we were the only grade level on campus untill senior year when the first batch of freshman were now juniors so we seniors and juniors were on campus together. It wasn't as fun as junior year, but at this time I met a lot of college friends mainly due to Smash Bros and other factors. Ah it was such good times but hopefully my time in college is better and the juniors, now seniors, are holding it down were we left off.

I just finished up my freshman year. Although I met some amazing people, I'm glad it's over.

I'm 4th year college now, and my H-school life is kinda nice, but still boring. We may have friends in h-school, but they'll forget us and so will us.

I hated high school. Teachers were corrupt, students were mostly hooligans and wasters. Good students got put down by other students and teachers all the time. Good teachers were driven out, or driven mad, or turned cold and jaded after a short time.

My freshman and sophomore years where great, until in the middle of my sophomore year I met my current girlfriend and everyone (LITERALLY even teachers) tried to break us up. The drama continued until we finally graduated. My teachers where okay to have. though I never did much work or anything xD all the students where annoying

Right now, I am about to finish up my Junior year of High School, then I'll be a senior. So far, I really like High School. I've made some awesome friends, and I like the way things are done at my school.
I'm glad when summer comes around though, need a break from all the work. I expect my senior year to be pretty good.

High school was a mixed bag for me. All of the years seemed to be on equal footing for me. What sucked was that I attended three different high schools, and when I transferred to the other two, it was in the middle of third semester. I had to work for the counselor's office in two of those schools simply because there wasn't a class I could transfer into.

I didn't have friends in high school, so that aspect of it sucked pretty bad. Instead I spent my lunches alone, eating by my locker, and I spent class writing. That's really the only good part about high school: lots and lots of personal writing. It was a lot easier to get stuff done because it was either that or *gasp* take notes, which I didn't really need because I got straight As anyway. >>

I was expecting high school graduation to be this super-awesome event but it just kind of came and went, and it wasn't anything special at all. I don't know if I was just that tired of high school by then, bummed that I didn't have friends to really celebrate it with, or what. All I know is that I didn't realize how much I didn't really like high school until I got out of it and went to college.

High school was the best thing that happened to me. My awesome teachers, trying new things like love, sex, etc., retarded classmates, adventures, and of course entertaining the Guidance Counselor at my school!!!! I love those memories.

High school's beginning was probably the time when I began to have actual friends and not just short-term acquaintances, so for that, I treasure my time in highschool. I moved three times to three different cities in a space of a few months, so there's been a bit of trouble for me to adapt, but I think it has improved my ability to move on from places I have a connection to. After summer vacation's over (it hasn't even begun yet for me...), I'll be entering my last year. I wonder how I'll handle university afterwards. I've never been much of an independent soul.

my high school career was plain fun. i was in a class of about 80 people and we were all very close, so school was more about socializing/prank schemes than education which some of you may frown upon but No Regrets fun times were had and i miss my class

It was ok, I took my classes, had a few joyful times.

So how was it? It was alright, nothing special.
Did you enjoy it? Yes, I found out who my true friends were in the end.
Did you hate it? No, I made a lot of mistakes and learned from them :)
    Glad it's over? Definitely.
Now what? Just finishing up my Bachelors of Science in Nursing :D (1.5 more years yay!)

I went to three different high schools over the course of four years...well, actually, I went to two different high schools for my freshman year than moved and my third for sophomore -> senior year.

My first high school was alright, but the academics were pretty poor and commuting was really annoying. I was in all honors classes and incredibly bored which ended up not being worth it in the end. I also had a lot of trouble fitting in with anybody and just really missed my friends, so I went back to the high school I was originally going to go to go.

My second high school was much better than the first, I was able to see old friends again, but since I went back around November I had to cram a few months of work in time for midterms which was awful. Seeing old friends also meant seeing people who I really didn't like so I had some problems, but it wasn't anything I wasn't used to.

High school #3 was definitely the best. I sort of jumped in after everybody had already formed cliques and had good friends so I ended up floating around and knowing everybody. The only academic I had trouble with was my Spanish class, I had to go through like four levels of Spanish to find a class I wasn't behind in. I was also kind of glad that nobody knew me there from middle school because I had a pretty bad awkward phase and didn't want that following me to graduation.

aaaaand now I've finished my first semester in college after taking a year off. I can't make up my mind as far as what I'd like to do, but I like the school so far so I plan on sticking with it.

So how was it? It was a roller coaster of drama and emotions.
Did you enjoy it? I didn't enjoy it, really.
Did you hate it? I didn't hate it, either.
Glad it's over? No, I cried.
    Now what? College.
