Nice point, this would be very interesting.
But Rowlet's debut was not too long.
Don't you think it's too soon for it to have a new form?

While I would normally agree with this, Audino got a Mega, the only Unova pokemon at that, in Gen 6. So I don't think that matters anymore. Greninja also got a 'mega' in Gen 7. I mean Sun and Moon came out 5 years ago, so I don't really think it is too soon.
