Hmm, What Move Will Pikachu Learn Next?

    What does everyone think the next move Pikachu will learn will be?

    I'm pretty much thinking either Thunderpunch or Return... Anyone have an opinion on the subject?
     
    Su? That is a really hard thing to think about. I mean what else is there to learn for him? I mean I see no reason for Shockwave since he has Thunderbolt. Volt Tackle was kinda a surprise but coolies. What else can he learn that can top Volt Tackle? I mean there is no other weakness for him to cover since Iron Tail is there to cover his rock weakness.

    ThunderPunch and Return just seems too plain. Maybe Protect but I really don't see that happening since Ash is more like the attacking person then to use a move like that. Maybe that Feint move to break though Paul's Protect. I am sure that Paul will teach that move to Magmar since it seems to have taken the place of Electabuzz.

    Pikachu won't learn any new moves. But Pikachu shouldn't learn any new moves, because Iron Tail is the best move he has. Oh, and Volt Tackle.
     
    Reyna is right, he SHOULD learn a defensive move like Protect, but Ash is reckless so I don't see him using defensive attacks.

    I agree, Pikachu isn't the one we should be worrying about, it's his other pokemon...
     
    I want it to learn Focus Punch for some reason, now that would be cool.
     
    Pikachu will learn Feint to counter Paul's Eletabuzz using Protect , Thats just me.
     
    The really only thing good about pikachu is its attacks, maybe a DP move if pikachu learns one in the game.
     
    I also think Ash will teach Pikachu Feint. It's his best bet at beating Paul.
     
    Return woulds be perfect for PiKa
    because its based on friendship.
    If ash's Pikachu ever did learn return
    it would be super strong ,because
    they've been together for sooo long
    and their best buds! ;)
     
    I agree that it needs to be something like Protect. Something defensive. But I don't see that happening. So maybe thunder punch?
     
    it should be return or protet, those would make some sense.

    but with the rediculousness of how they learn moves in the show, i'm willing to cast my bet for charge beam. either that or (and this is a big stretch, but hey, pikachu's don't learn volt tackle by levelling...) something uber-godly like judgement. (ok, that's a joke, but i wouldn't be surprised if it did learn something impoosible...)
